I'd be pretty dissapointed if we finish below ess.

We really should be pushing finals this year. AC came at the end of 04', and was talking about 07' as our first finals year. That time has arrived and I just can't see us even giving it a shake. We have been very bad in the practice games (this is not result based, just the way we have played, with our gameplan, and skills).

When you have a midfield of Hodge, Mitchell ,Crawford, Lewis, Birchall, Bateman, our results should be a lot better. IF Clarko doesn't get 11 wins, he would be sacked for me. He has done really well list managment wise, but he is just as bad as Schwab as a match day coach. It is time we spent some money on an experienced coach, and started delievering.

Clarko deserves this year, but we will be 1-4 at round 5, and out of finals contention. I Hope AC can prove me wrong, but we just arn't polished enough, when will we be Clarko?

I would be happy just to make the finals, even if we lost our first final.

West Coast, finished eigth three years running before making the grand final in 2005 and winning the premiership in 2006.

We still have a very young list and much improvement still required. We saw some signs last year of what we are capable of, however we still need more time.

I expect us to win 10 or 11 games this year and be a little more consistent than last year. Also I hope we can eliminate blow outs. If we can do this and reduced our losing margins I'd be happy.

Last year our average winning margin was five goals, while our average losing marging was seven goals.

I think Collingwood made a huge mistake getting rid of Tarrant. While he wasn't performing well and i don't rate him that highly, he was their forward structure and i don't think rocca can carry that responsibility.

Also i think the addition of tarrant as a hff to fremantles forward line will take a lot of pressure of Pavlich and add another avenue to goal to an already potent forward line.

Adelaide have missed their window due to Mcleod, Ricciuto, Edwards and co. having lost a step of pace imo.

I am unimpressed with Richmond at the moment and i believe they could finish anywhere between 7th and 16th. Depends on how Richo and browny go.

1. WEST COAST (The one to beat)
2. FREMANTLE (The challenger)
3. ST. KILDA (Crippled with injuries last year, have to improve markedly)
4. WESTERN BULLDOGS (See St. Kilda, plus a bloke named Akermanis)
5. ADELAIDE (Never finish worse than one predicts)
6. SYDNEY (Will go close again, not much seperating teams 3-6)
7. PORT ADELAIDE (Gave up early last year, expect big improvement)
8. GEELONG (Slight improvement but don't have class of the big teams)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
9. COLLINGWOOD (Spanked when heat turned up in finals, overachieved)
10. HAWTHORN (Apprenticeship nearly over, 1 more year without finals)
11. MELBOURNE (Last years disappointment IMO, expecting a slide)
12. RICHMOND (Looking to others)
13. CARLTON (Begin the slow rise up over the next 2-3 years)
14. ESSENDON (Rarely down the bottom for 2 years, improve slightly)
15. BRISBANE (Take out top 5-6 then a very, very average squad)
16. KANGAROOS (Had em 13th before Thompsons injury, Laidley will go)

Put teams 7-12 into a hat (very even IMO) and draw one out.
