Ha, I knew the Joanne Lees thing would bomb (even with the endless promos during the Grand Prix). I think everyone is over the whole thing by now.
7 is not losing because of Brian - the Betty is losing viewers because really, it is the same storyline each week.

1. Dancing with the Stars Seven 1.737m
2. All Saints Seven 1.510
3. Seven News Seven 1.413
4. Today Tonight Seven 1.285

14. CSI 8:30pm Nine 0.908
15. Crossing Jordan Seven 0.838
(OzTAM preliminary estimates, mainland capitals)
DWTS dropped a little, but since they still got over 1.7m i think 7 will be satisfied, especially with the All Saints figure as well.
The Biggest Loser has been drawing better numbers of late, 1.2m seems to be the norm all of a sudden, and considering last nights show went for an hour and a half, to get a 1.229 is excellent.
Was CSI, 20to1 and NCSI all repeats? Cause they got fairly low figures.

I don't think I've seen any figures for The West Wing on Saturday - it certainly hasn't shown up in the (limited) lists of top shows for that evening. It was pulling 600-700k on Mondays and I doubt it will have improved on that much.

Pity, it is the best show on tele.
Last week was brilliant, and will get better heading in to the presidential election.

thanks i was just curious cos i'm normlally out on sat & used to watch it on mondays & with greys' now on sundays not sure it would have had much competition for the 8:30 slot (not keen on supernatural)

Low numbers for most on Wednesday, maybe it was spread across a lot of shows because Nine News got pretty high with a pretty low number.
Word has it that Neighbours has been doing quite well this week, averaging around 800k, Homies slumped to just over 1m yesterday, whats the g.o with that.

Understandable because the last few episodes have been incredibly dull. I have already watched through to episode 13 on the internet and the past few have been by far the least interesting. It really starts to pick up now...but I wonder whether too many fans have been lost to it.

Yeah but 7 keep advertising those episodes as "must see" ;)
Chaser start next week - that will help Wednesday nights although it is a difficult slot.
I have some tragic news to report - Celebrity Dog School* has been put down.I just saw an ad during The Simpsons for the movie Matilda at 6.30pm saturday.

House was pulling 1.8m last year - the entire industry is struggling to hold viewers.
the entire industry is struggling to hold viewers.
Its because the Aussie tv networks suck, and don't show programs as they air around the world. Always behind. Thus more and more people watch shows via the internet.

House was pulling 1.8m last year - the entire industry is struggling to hold viewers.
According to Tribal Mind on the smh.com.au website the audience numbers haven't dramatically dropped as many (you and I alike) think.
It seems that the audiences are spread over more shows with no real 'dominant' show anymore as was the case in previous years with Nine News Sunday, CSI, House, Despos and the like.
'How I met Your Mother' gained a bit as did Lost and Earl, strange that because Nine still won the night  ......possibly due to the Footy show averaging over 1m from 9:30-11:15 (or so)
I would say that ^^ figure would have been higher if it wasn't for the complete lack of ANYTHING on that show after Worsfold was finished, i mean, come on, INXS twice on teh one show, i guess nothing will change.
They will, once the season starts, just look at the games on and thats it, they hardly talk about the matches at all and are more interested in sensational stories and mindless drivel.
