Jess Sinclair - Finished ninth in the club's best and fairest last year after a consistent 21-game season in defence. Sinclair's attacking flair and run out of defence should continue to be a highlight of his game this season.

Carlos in in WA and has asked me to do the Sinclair report thingy. He added that it is merely coincidence that he jumped on a plane and headed over once the Eagles players were revealed to have massive Ice addictions and coke parties with male escorts.

Jess was good yesterday. Often an outlet from defensive, played centrally which was pleasing. Has adapted well to the new system, only rarely stopping, going around in circles and kicking sideways. Was direct and damaging. Filled space behind him well, something we lack in our midfielders.

Good start. Stats later.

he was a good link player off the HBF and with his long kick expect to setup alot of play and get his fair share of I50's

Looked great at training at AAMI today. Was part of the small group of players doing Ruck/Roving drills with the Monster. Trained as if he was playing in the midfield this week.

Apologies for not having updated yet. Didnt get to see all of the game live and havent had a chance to sit down to the replay just yet.

From what i did see, Jess played up the ground more than he usually does and had alot of the ball but wasn't overly damaging with his possessions.

Not sure who his opponent was though and it was difficult to pick up much of his off the ball stuff on the coverage.

Will watch replay later and try and get a better feel though.

Vs Port: 7/10. Worked hard, linked well, used it smartly. Again, not sure who his opponent was though...

VS Hawks: Was servicable and certainly wasn't our worst, but his 19 touches had very little impact in a game where someone with his disposal and experience was desperately needed to stand up for us.

His work rate was reasonable in terms of hard running from half back and up the wings, but he just wasn't involved enough in positions that were damaging to the opposition IMO. And 2 tackles from a bloke basically playing as a loose man across half back in game where the ball spent as much time on the deck and in dispute as what it did on Sunday isn't good enough.

And only 2 inside 50's is indicative of why we looked shambolick (did i just make a word up?) in that part of the ground.

6/10

Season rating: 6.66 \m/

Was seen with lady-friend at the Australian Open watching Hewitt beat Marcos Baghdatis.

Good work, Lleyton (2.35 underdog :))

Was seen with lady-friend at the Australian Open watching Hewitt lose Diamond Joe's money to Marcos Baghdatis.

Damn you, Lleyton...

By the way who is Chantelle Delaney? (other than Jess's girl)

I have heard she is a singer, but have never see her live or heard her music.

She won some Sexiest Qlder Comp run by the Courier Mail up here last year and is apparently from Toowoomba.

She says she's working with Sony BMG but is not listed on their website as an artist.

Anyone know anything - she looks hot though.

Bit of a mystery woman I think

I'll make sure I keep a close eye on him in our game against Bendigo this week and will post up a detailed entry in the player reports.

Played a superb game in the midifield for Werribee today and I wouldn't be surprised if he steps straight back into Kangaroos side next week.

Where has he been.

He played 2 weeks ago against the Cats, which we of course lost, and was dumped back to Werribee for Campbell and Edwards' return against Port. He's in the running for a spot this week, for sure, especially with Harding copping a medial ligament injury last week.
