If we kept them we probably wouldnt have drafted Gumbleton and Jetta. I know who I'd rather.

I have heard some rumors about Cupido and Zantuck. And that is why we got rid of them. And NO, I'm not going to spread any here.

we might be getting a bit more press coverage than we are at present?
zantuck was stiff not to get picked up by carlton. he is much better than the irish retard.
what happen with cupido was a pity. he was soooooooo good in 2003. if only he had his head screwed on he would be a very valuable part of our team

Agree with both. There are a lot of people of people who had talent but not their head screwed on though. It's a shame, but it's doubtful he would have turned it around. He had plenty of chances.
I thought Zantuck was pretty good and had done enough footy wise to deserve another year. Obviously he was a bit of a menace around the club, and that's why we got rid of him.

Menace is a bit polite. I would say he was an idiot and a dill. Saw him kicked out of the members bar at the races for being a dill and not one other Essendon player with him batted an eye lid or tried to help him. Football wise he couldn't hit a target by foot to save his life. Strutted around from the day he stepped onto an AFL match like he was Mr tough guy, Good riddance.
As for Cupido no brains as well. Had some ability but unfortunately believed his own publicity too much and cost himself a career.

What rot. I bought a copy of the Age late last year and there was a big spread on him. His job was installing curtains in Adelaide. Now that's a career every kid dreams of :thumbsu:

Are you havin a laugh? Is he havin a laugh?
Setanta will be a gun IMHO.
amusing go team but the differences are too apparent. The Eagles performed on the field as well as they did off. contrast that with our two.
Cupido was not that good in 2003 hulld, a lot of his goals where when the pressure was off, but it should have been a stepping stone to more consistent, damaging performances in the future.
