Thankyou for rubbing it in....just what we need to hear right now.
Not to worry, Blues fans. McKernan is just underdone. Wait a few weeks time when he kicks 6 goals, gets 13 marks and Ports gets 5 hitouts and <10 disposals. ;)

A few weeks? You guys aren't playing against Geelong until round 11. ;)

I would like to add my gratitude to Carlton...
First an interest free loan... second the 99 flag... now Porter...
I am happy with Mark Porter. However, I am sure that in time Corey Mc Kernahan will prove to be an asset for the Blues.

Tip to Wayne Brittain.
Leave McKernan up forward, make sure that he and Whitnall work as a team and don't get in each other's way. Make sure that your midfield send long and low passes into McKernan's chest....he's useless overhead. And for heaven's sake, DON'T PUT HIM IN THE RUCK.....well, not unless you want to shatter his confidence and starve Ratten of the ball.
Use these instructions and McKernan will get a very handy minimum of 50 goals for your club.

North supporters waited 5 years for McKernan to deliver the promise he showed....without reward.
What were Carlton thinking......a change of training venue was all that was needed for him to be able to read the play and take an overhead mark?
Athlete first....footballer a LOOOOOOONG distant last.
Get ready for a year of frustration Blues fans.....barring two games for the year, what you've seen from McKernan the last two games are, scarily enough for you, what he averaged over the last 2 years at North.
10 possessions
4 marks
1.3 goals
1 free for
3 frees against
5 hitouts
Don't make the mistake of waiting for a miracle change likje North fans have done for the last 3-5 years (occassional good game aside)

If he gets 10 disposals, that would be the most of his career. Or his total disposals in the last 7 games of last year at least
Hey Shinboners,
Interesting point about McKernan not being able to take an overhead mark. Kind of defeats the purpose of getting a 197cm marking forward, doesn't it?
