Madness,
What you just said makes no sense..
How is it possible to actually "Work for the "Government".
I only know one public servant that actually does..

The end result, Skye 14.16 to Elsternwick 15.10.
Yep a Draw, all the boys pulled up well, no major injuries out of the game, 2 concerns thought with Roddas and Gareth but apart from that it was a great game played in High spirits for a Wonderful cause!!
Is it Ironic that the only game Skye has played for a cup it turns out to be a draw???

A decent hit-out for a practice match, though I suspect both sides had players unavailable for the game.
Interesting to note the SFL umpires imposed SFL rules, which I think Elsternwick struggled to come to terms with. The little umpire who acted like he was being fast-tracked to the AFL gave Skye a few decisions that were pretty average.
As you said though Mad Man, a good game in good spirit and the cause was an excellent one. Did Blue 64 come up in the raffle?

i took a lovely one hand mark in a 1 on 1 contest only to have the ball taken off me for in the back, more like show of strength but the stupid umpire came into the rooms and said he wouldnt be paying the new AFL rule what a peanut, you wonder why they get no respect.:thumbsd: Glad to hear it was a successful day madman as it was a great cause:)

Thanks mate
I must admit I didnt think the new afl rules were in either, until the umpies paid 4 push in the backs in the 1st qaurter!!
I dont know about the dodgy decisions given to us, I do remember some costly decision against us in the last qaurter that gave elsternwick 3 goals, all push in the back rules!!
But overall I thought the umpires were good, we just need to adjust to these new rules, if in fact they are paying them during the season??

No where not playing new AFL rules this season thank god, some bloke wont get a kid if we do. Our umpire came into our room b4 the game and said i wont be using the new afl rule, but my first contest he went against what he said aswell as a few other decisions during the game, no wonder i was feeling a bit dizzy, i thought it was the beers from the night before:o

As the goal kicking wingman said an umpire came into the rooms before a game and said the new rule wont be used in the SFL this year. But then he paid a couple.
