View Full Version : What was the best name change?

TheGeneral
26 Mar 2007, 17:44
Cypher to In_Like_Flint - Flint is a gun KPP of the future and has sensational burst speed so he gets my vote. :) :) :) :) :)

HugeBluesFan to HBF - HBF sounds like the building society that sponsored the Hawks so that's a negative. But it's a good switch because the previous name gave the impression he was overweight.

Chemical to Thalidomide - I prefer Chemical and he's never here.

Thrawn to Parrot - someone on the polls board suggested Parrot was his alias.

Bluemike to Effes - nice work since he didn't even have to subscribe.

As for the poll, the answer is clearly:

Other-Jeremias (from Campo#16 to Jeremias). Jeremias sounds better, and I didn't have to pay for it.

Thrawn to Parrot - someone on the polls board suggested Parrot was his alias.

That was The Dice Man who said that!

And wouldn't a name change be a name change? An alias isn't a name change. Take it off!

I'm not smart enough to reel people in like that nor have the time to be a parrot. :D

Thrawn

I'm gonna go with yours cypher. Most noticable change, most different one and has more than just letters!

Think he changed it a little under 12 months ago.
I ran into him at PP during a practice match last year and he was still BlueMike.

HugeBluesFan to HBF - HBF sounds like the building society that sponsored the Hawks so that's a negative. But it's a good switch because the previous name gave the impression he was overweight.

Plus I now view him as a tough, uncompromising half-back flanker. :)

Not being up on all the goss and goings on, may I enquire as to why everyone decided to change their names (except the obvious Campo one)?

Because I don't think I would consider doing it, I am more than happy with my quaint little sherb name. :)

So, therefore, my name didn't change.

Chemical to Thalidomide was the most unnoticable that I can remember. I already assumed the Chemical had left for good, so I had no bloody idea who Thalidomide was.

Thrawn to Parrot was probably the most obvious one. I like how he lobied to have his alias banned too. Trying to fool everyone.. ;)

HugeBluesFan to HBF was just pointless.... :D
