Welcome fellow players and supporters, first things first
Woodend this week, good chance to feel the sherrin under match conditions.
Can anyone tell me if it will be 2 x 4qtr. games or 1x 6 qtrs.
Also any players not making to trip to woodend.

2x4 qtrs Kickrs.
As for players not making the trip .... too many to mention! But still ok for numbers in both sides, which is a big positive!

I know it is very early in the season but it looks like the only two sides in divvy 2 will be Springy and Dingley.
When they meet i reckon we will see a shoot out, big Willo up forward for Districts and Quinny up the other end for Dingley.
As for round two Springy will beat Ashwood by plenty, anybody got any other thoughts ????

Yes Mark Charles is playing with Springvale, and in round one took the year of the year, not such a good game in round two my spies tell me

word around town is the the typhoon 10fa could be making his debut this week in the 1's, should be as exciting as jason heatly kicking 8 on debut for the eagles

Well after round 3 things look a lot clearer, still no word from Springy Dees after the spray he gave me about my comment after round one.

Read in the local rag that this weekend sees the district boys run out in the old Port Melbourne design jumper, being a old Springy player (of some years ago now) I will look forward to seeing the colours back on the park, also see that it is past players day, could anyone tell me if the likes of Brunsma, Ball, Barrott, Dickson, Cumbo,Crab, Hall, will be in attendance.

Not sure about all of them but Brunsy should be there, Hally probably not because he usually watches Jason play at Cora Lyn.
We are expecting a lot of our past players & there is a luncheon.
All the boys wore the jumpers for 1st time last night & they look fantastic.
