This was the final season of the West Wimmera Football League. The league folded after this year.

In 1981 Goroke won easily
after 81 Balmoral went south, Netherby-Lorquon folded, Gerang-Kiata, Goroke and Noradjuha went into the district league and i am unsure wether Douglas-Harrow-Miga Lake came to the district league for a year then went down south or went straight down south
