New Sub Board [Archive]

Eagles Fans,

Your friendly mods have decided to attach a sub board to our nest as a way for you guys and gals to have a place to chat about general stuff plus somewhere where we can have the overload of stickies we currently have at the moment and keep the WC board free for the games.

Mr. E and I are asking you what names you would suggest for the sub board, please put your suggestions here and we will have a final tally on what people like and then approach the powers to be regarding this board.

I like Eagle's Nest. Other suggestions?

We should use one word which is straight to the point. The word should represent that you're going to enter an awesome sub-forum and talk about awesome topics. That said, the only word which meets all these requirements is "Lynch".

So, it's settled, the new name of the sub-forum will be "Lynch".

What about the Thermals or the Hot Thermals because when wedge tailed eagles need a rest they cruise around at high altitude, in the hot thermal cycles. Just a thought.

"The Eyrie". Defined in the dictionary as "The nest of a bird of prey, especially eagle". Oh yeah and Hitler DID have a place called "The Eagle's Nest". Might look it up on the nest and see what it says.

Mr. E and I will discuss the sub board, but I like the idea of it being more of a playground and general topic area for our posters. I will like to keep the swear filter evasion in check of course, and of course trolls will be eliminated and keep the WC board more for football topics.

Don't hold me on this as I like to see what Mr. E thinks, (Yes, he does have some good ideas, though others are laughable ;) ) and we will go from there.

If you guys have some ideas, feel free to input. After all, this is your Nest. :)

More of a board for social talk amongst Eagles fans here as well as putting some of the other threads such as Dreamteam and BFWCPOTY threads there.
