Hey guys,
It's been a while since I posted on this forum, but with the footy now well and truly back for 2007, I thought I might show you something that my fiance (a hard-core West Coast fan) and I have been working on lately, it's a WEST COAST EAGLES MONOPOLY board.

Nice stuff, although the idea of paying rent or building a hotel on a player worries me a bit :)
I'd be tempted to swap Jako and Woosha, but that's just me.
I had Chris Mainwaring in my list, but I couldn't find a decent image of him during his playing days, so I brought in Sampi at short notice.

Replace Sampi with Hunter and Phil Matera with Hansen and that's pretty accurate.

Usually monopoly the properties go up in value as you go around the board. and have a rental value should another player land on that property. So how do you intend your version to work. Each WCE player has a purchase value and if another game player lands on him they conceed a free kick and are penalised a set fine. Maybe you could replace the houses and hotels in the original game with premiships cups to up the value of the WCE player and the fines.
I think the position of some of the player if there are to be in order of $ value needs some correction.

As for the values, I was thinking each colour represents a value, with each new colour getting a higher value as you travel around the board. For instance Dark Blue is $60, Red is $200, Green is $350, etc.
As for the player positions on the board, you'll have to speak with my fiance Tanya, as she is the WC fan, I just created the board using her navigation.
I've also created an Essendon board (my team) but that thread hasn't had as many replies to it as this one has (perhaps WC fans are nicer people I guess).
Well if it runs like the real monopoly does then Park Lane and Mayfair should be Ben Cousins and John Worsfold. Mayfair is the most expensive property in Monopoly and is partnered with Park Lane. So Mayfair should definitely be Woosha as he is a two time premiership captain, 200 game player and now our fearless leader, and premiership coach. Definitely over the history of WC, John Worsfold is our biggest name.
As for Park Lane, that has to be our greatest ever player. Cant go past one Ben Cousins. The next set of three where you currently have Woosha, Matera and McKenna is pretty good. But with Woosha being Park Lane, we switch Jako to be part of that threesome with McKenna and Matera.
Hansen shouldnt be on the board, neither should Sampi. Where is Brett Heady and Chris Mainwaring. Great premise though. Id buy Eagles Monopoly.

It's an awesome idea though. I'd also buy it... make fun of the Docker family when they try and spend so much money to get Eagles players :thumbsu:
