We do a 5 system here dont we. Here goes

5. Daniel Kerr - What a tackle in the end. Super all day. Gonna win the Brownlow soon I think
4. Chris Judd - Not as good as Kerr but not far off. Typical Judd
3. David Wirrpanda - Looked the fittest he has in a while. Marshalled the defence
2. Mark Seaby - Went one on 2 vs the best ruck combo in the league and more then did well. 2 crucial goals too
1. Rowan Jones - Couldnt do a thing wrong today. Best game in a year I think from him

Honorbale mentions : Mitch Brown Adam Selwood and Q Lynch (just missed out both of them).

5. Kerr: highest possies, fantastic game-winning tackle
4. Judd: explosive, 2 goals, some good clearences
3. Wirrapanda: great at the back, good cleaning/mopping up
2. Selwood: always open, good kicking, cool head
1. Seaby: did well alone in the ruck, good goal, good midfield play

Unlucky: Lynch, Chick, Waters, Brown

5: Judd, christ, can anyone tackle this man?!
4: Kerr, awesome. Barely laid a foot wrong and was unstoppable around the clearances.
3: Rojo, I agree, his best game in ages. No bad kicks, constantly in the action
4: Brown. For a first gamer he was awesome. No goals, but constant pressure and a great mark. Desereves a RS nomination from his first game, how good is that?
5: Staker. Considering I didn't think he was ready for this game, he was great. Always near the ball, in defence or attack or midfield. I'm definatley impressed.

Unlucky: Chick, Seaby was awesome, Wirra, Lynch, Waters

I haven't seen the match yet. Here in Brisbane both channel 10 and foxtel had the Lions vs Hawks match. The Eagles Vs Swans match is not shown until 2am.

I will watch a replay tomorrow and vote then.

5. Kerr - Easily BOG. That tackle was inspiring. Show it time and time again to the youngsters
4. Judd - No explanation needed. So slick
3. RJones - Just awesome today. Didnt put a foot wrong I thought. Best performance in years
2. Adam Selwood - Could raffle it here but Selly deserves 2. Everytime the ball was kicked into their forward line he was there in some shape or form.
1. David Wirrpanda - If it wasnt for THAT kick hed be higher but overall apart from that one bad mistake it was the fittest and fastest he has looked in along time. Good game

How can people get excited about Staker's performance on Goodes while ignoring the superior efforts of Glass on Hall?

Don't take Glass for granted. That was an excellent performance on Hall tonight.

People tend to overlook Glass because he doesn't get a lot of the ball.

Hall would have been fired up for last night. He would have been very focused on putting in a big one after the GF. But Glass beat him soundly and that was a major factor in us getting home.

Glass did his job as well as anyone in our team - moreso than RoJo and Wirrpanda. Don't be so dazzled by the stats sheet.

Disagree all you want, but you don't have to parade it around after each post. Why quote ratings and tell them they missed out on people? In a way you are saying that your ratings are the only ones that are correct.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion without you poping up to disagree with them. What is it you wish to achieve with this anyway?

First time on the Eagles board. Bit nervous. lol. West Coast fan living in Melbourne. My votes are as such
5. Kerr: 2nd best midfielder in the comp without cuz playing. Huge game.
4. Judd: Standard game for him exceptional if anyone else had done it. Did anyone see him shrug off Mcveigh? Phenomanal
3. Wirra: Doesnt get the rating of a gilbee in melbourne as a clean up defender but just as good
4. Seaby: Huge effort without Cox. Best game i have seen him play.
5. Lynch: The way he pushed and led up the ground was really impressive. Thats what seperates him from the likes of reiwoldt, brown pavlich. If he can keep doing that al year while kicking his 2-4 goals a game he will cause opposition coaches alot of headaches.
Like everyone else has said apologies to rojo, selwood, braun, brown. Go the mighty eagles!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should be nervous! According the the Official Marking Guide...

5. Kerr
4. Judd
3. Seaby
2. Glass
1. Selwood

...you only got 3 out of 5.

Oh, the shame!

You know guys and girls, the CLASSY thing to do would be to leave the Gunnar issue where it is and get on with the voting...

Probably a dumb question, but I'm still relatively new here so cut us some slack.:o

Does anyone count up the votes each round and total them up at the end of the year?

If not I'm happy to volunteer to do so or help whoever does.

No human does it. We have DeepBlue do all the calculating. So far Rook 13A to 16A has won it..."Maybe someday you'll learn that not everything can be solved by chess, DeepBlue"
