View Full Version : So, after the tribunal this week...
we have dicovered that to be in Purple means you're ****ed and there's nothing we can do about it.
Basset and Hodge both have now got off while Dodd gets a holiday for treading on someones tootsies.
**** you AFL.

Yeah more bull**** for us to deal with. I think if you could tally up the random **** that has happened to us (courtesy of the AFL or umpires) since we joined the comp we would be leading the tally by a big margin.

We still have no respect from the AFL and the tribunal sees us as easy targets. Probably won't change till we win a premiership.
But it's going to be hard to win a premiership when our players continually get suspended while the other clubs get off.

FFC should own part of that. Weak that they didn't contest also. Weak as. Re MRP and our club... IMHO:
1. Never should have contested Jeffre's 4 week offer. Should have taken it and shut up.
2. Should have appealed again for Johnno. That outcome always was extreme, and they should have gone back again. He couldn't have got any more time, the worst that would have happened is the club would have lost some $$$. BFD.
3. They should have contested Dodd's. That was as soft as I have ever seen. Pathetic on the AFL's part, but also weak from the club.
Did Dodd actually make contact with his foot?

About time we see spectators bagging the umpires like they did to Judd in last years derby to let them know that they don't tolerate rubbish treatment.
Start complaining at the game.

I agree you guys have been royally shafted wit hthe early season tribunal findings.....but seriously, you should start bagging umpires at games???? Dockers fans along with 15 other clubs fans already do plenty of that. And these tribunal decisions are the tribunal's decisions, not he umpires. At leats direct your anger at te right party.

Johnno has every right to feel hard done by.

After the tribunal this week i am finding it hard not to think the afl or someone at the tribunal is out to get the dockers.
How can Bassett and Sinclair both get off for incidents which looked worse on the replay than what Crowley did which cost him a week and got Johnson 4 weeks.
For once i would love some consistency which we all know is never going to happen.
Sorry Im just out of mourning ready for round two. Can someone set me straight please:
1. Crowley has been suspended for 1 week for a side on bump most definately in play to that crab Motlop, which was lucky to be a free. (Granted I do sit at the other end of the ground)
2. Dodd has been suspended for 1 week because a Port player said he stood on his foot. No footage , and the umpire didn't see this???
Does this mean that each Collingwood player can claim that their opponents this week stood on their feet with no evidence and the entire Eagles team will serve a 1 match suspension, missing the Derby.:(
WTF???????

Crowley was under 100 points, so he is free to play this week Polly.

But yeah, you're right on the Dodd one, Polly. Mind-boggling in its lameness and utter stupidity.
*shakes head in disbelief*
Cheers Dom, IP.:thumbsu:
Hopefully Creepy will be better for the run last week and show a bit more against the Dons. Chins up groovers they'll come good.

Surprised we are favourites this week, most neutrals will be tipping the dons.
