That's how many Lucas has in his last 9 games. And he is still a "good flanker" in many trolls' eyes

That's pretty impressive.
surely he must finally get the recognition he deserves
although in saying that he loves flying underneath the radar
Well let's hope for 60 in 10 then ;)

Wouldn't it be great if Scotty won it and a third Chrichton medal. He may be a leader in the Brownlow at the minute too.:D
there's a bloke called kerr who may challenge him for the clubhouse leader

Well Lloydy's favourite to win the Coleman Medal so I'd think he's favourite for the Club award.
It's not a bad question if you ask people who they think will get it, but it's obvious who the favourite is.
Not a bad head start for Scotty though. He was at $21 to kick the most goals this round. If it wasnt for so many other players kicking 5, it wouldve been a ripping bet. :thumbsu:

Lloyd might win the goalkicking (I reckon he will), but I think Lucas will exert more influence on games and therefore do better in the B&F.

Disagree entirely
Lloyd and Lucas have swapped positions over the last few seasons - Lloyd does far more work up the ground, tackling, passing, setting up forward moves
Lucas is now the "one dimensional" forward that Lloyd once was - just he's slotting them casually from 60 out on the flank...
As for the trolls? **** em. I would rather win one Crichton than 10 All-Australian honours, and 1 premiership than 5 Crichtons. Scottie's won both. **** AA. It's a token for average clubs - leave them to it.
Pavlich can win as many AA tokens in as many positions he never plays as he wants. He's still the chocolate frog

lucas is an exceptional player 49 goals in his last 9 matches that is a great effort.

If Lloydy didn't use his hands in the back of a Freo player in the pack Lucas may very well have had 6
The Clamps are on fire. A big improvement in taking a contested mark. The spell at CHB has made him a much better all round player.
He is a much better player now then he was in 2000.

You may as well side with those trolls you mention, Lucas is the complete package as far as Im concerned. Presents well, dangerous in the air, potent around the goals, good hands below his knees and not to mention versatile if needed up the ground. Far from one dimensional.

.. and the reason we had so many close losses, not floggings, last year. The leadership Scotty provides in his example can't be overstated, just because he's not a loudmouth or media-tart he does get overlooked as a superstar. I'm just amazed his loyalty has stretched so far.

I'm still fuming over him not getting AA selection last year. Personally I think he is as every bit as good as Pavlich. Pavlich can maybe do the flash things a bit better but for reliability and consistency give me Scotty anyday, The commentators were creaming themselves yesterday whenever Pavlich did anything but whenever Lucas did anything it was glossed over. Oh well, we at least know what a champ he is.:thumbsu:

There was one thing where i was amazed at Pavlich, i think nearly everyone was, the boundary soccer kick then goal.

That was awesome but then he went and missed a sitter from about ten metres out which is why I said I would prefer Lucas for reliability and consistency.
pavlich missed two easy goals when the game was on the line
the set shot miss was crucial

The ONLY thing Pav has over Lucas is the ability to be injected into the midfield in crunch times. But we have Hird, so who cares.

Forget much better palyer the guy is an absolute champ - my favorite non-cfc player and in my view the most entertaining and watchable player in the comp.
His whole career has been a human highlight film.
Only wish he played for us...
Love you scotty - f...ing fantatsic player
Only bloke who can dominate key defence and offence.

We only have Hird for another 20 weeks (plus possibly another one or two) :(

And hopefully by then someone can really improve to try and fill his void.
