While Whippety Boy wont take any part as a player in the WRFL this year he will keep a close eye on proceedings as they unfold. Unfortunately for the WRFL specatators Whippety Boy will be running around in another competition this year where he is sure to tear it to pieces. For what its worth Whippety Boy has chosen Spotswood as it's Premier in Division One and Sunshine Heights in Division two.
Good luck to all teams tomorrow for round 1 and a special mention to Whippety Boy's great mate Gotheroos (Guy Chisnall) who makes his much anticipated debut for the reigning premiers at Murphy reserve tomorrow.

Hi folks!!
I have been following the results and have noticed that my flag prediction in Divvy 2 (Sunshine Heights) have stagnated a bit mid season have a sensational start. Are there any injury concerns at Ainsworth Reserve or are the Dragons waiting to make a serious assualt come finals time?
I see Spotty are still on top in Division 1. Are they still the team beat or are Hoppers Crossing and Port Colts the teams most likely to take the big one in Division 1.
Looks like it's going to be a great finsih in the WRFL.

The Dragons are just loading up for a big assault on the Finals.
Can we expect to see Whippety making an appearance at a game at some stage in the year?

He is a couple of aliases on this site but finally worked out who he is. Hopefully he may go to ground now
Hey bigFG. Anyway how is Matt Dean going this year. I hear he is not much of a player. What do you think of him. Do you think he is on big footy.

Can I detect some sour grapes towards bigFG, It coundn't be because he is on the right tram regarding an earlier post could it??

I have it on good authority the Heights are just biding their team and will still be the team to beat in September and speaking to a collegue on the weekend Hoppers could be the ones to challenge Spotty for the flag in Divvy 1.
Discuss
Heights are very confident of being very competetive and of being very fit come September. The losses were the best thing that could have happened to us. Cant wait.
I think first division will come down to Hoppers and Colts. Colts have had some big names out so should be stronger once they return, just have to slide in for the double chance first. Hoppers will be smarting after last year which could give them enough motivation to get over the line.

He had a sign in the grand strand that read...WHIPPETY BOY LOVES PORT COLTS...great sense of humour buddy, i know me and bronco saw it and had a good laugh about it.
I must say you have gone to some lenghts this year in your admiration for the colts hopefully we can deliver this week for you.
Did any one see whippety boy putting this sign up in the grand stand saturday at chirnside park??????

After your first final against Hoppers a fortnight ago Whippety Boy lit fabian Webb's smoke for him in the players race after the game....Whippety Boy has framed that cigarrette lighter and it sits proudly alongside his numerous premiership medallions and best and fairest trophies.......Whippety Boy was also only about 5 metres away when Rock was being interviewed after that game.
Whippety Boy looks forward to making the Chirnside Park grandstand his own again this weekend.
Sad to see Gotheroos out for the big the one. There maybe a special banner devoted to him ;)

On a different note bad luck to Tony Delaney and the Heights boys on yesterdays loss. Playing in a big final at Chirnside Park after playing all their finals somewhere else was always going to be huge ask considering West had already had a couple of weeks off in the finals.

Great win to Spotty in what can only be described as one of the all time great suburban Grandfinals.
Whippety picked Spotty at the start of the year but he must he must admit he was riding shot gun on the Colts bandwagon in the finals.
Whippety has watched and played in many games of suburban and country footy but he must admit he has never witnessed a better atmosphere than what he saw at Chirnside Park last Saturday.
Well done :thumbsu::)
