Congratualtions Triple J. Once again, the J Files comes through and delivers a top quality performance. The J Files always seem to do the artist justice.

A bit spewing though, with all those B-Sides being played, yet no Weekend Away played. I was a bit disappointed with that.

If anyone recorded it somehow, I'll take a copy of it.

Just a couple of questions for all Jebediah fans:

a) When was the first time you saw them live?

b) How many recordings do you own of theirs? (CD, Tape, Vinyl)

c) How many times have you seen them live?

For me:

a) I first saw them live just after Slightly Odway was released. I saw them at the now defunct Chelsea in the Valley (Brisbane people might know where I mean). It was an all ages show, and there would have been about 75-100 people there. Probably one of the best live sets I've seen.

b) I own their 3 Albums, 2 EP's (Twitch & Harpoon) and 5 singles (Military Strongmen, Animal, Please Leave x 2, Fall Down) I also have about 5 shirts and a cap (which I wore 24 hours a day). I've then used my collection to make a "Best of" CD.

c) I've seen them live at least 7-8 times (I've lost count). A couple of club shows, but mainly at Festivals - I've only missed 1 festival when Jebediah were playing since I first saw them.

Another Fan!!!

I completely missed these J Files....not much of a radio listener so i dont hear much on the radio. What B Sides did they play, some of there best stuff are B Sides.

First time i saw them live.....geez, cant honestly remember...would have been an all ages gig as i was only about 17 the first time i saw them. Possibly at the Globe or the Grovesnor.

Only recording i own are all three of there albums. Didnt buy any EP's or singles because its a waste of my money seen as i can get those songs on the internet. I have every song they have ever made either on CD or on my computer.

Seen them live probably around 10 times, the best gig i saw them play was at 99's Rockit festival. I was pretty drunk by the time they came on so that probably helped but man they were good. Recently saw them at a free gig in Wanneroo and next up is in 2 fridays time when they play at the Grovesnor.

Question for ya Mongrelpunt.....if you had to make a 14 track best of CD including any recording they have done, what would make your CD?

I already have. I didn't get everything I wanted, but if I got everything I wanted, here's my ultimate Jebediah CD:

In no particlar order:

Jerks of Attention (Single version, not album)
Puck Defender
Lino
Star Machine
Animal
Feet Touch the Ground
Skin
Fall Down
Nothing Lasts Forever
Country Holiday Song (my new favourite song)
Weekend Away
Monument
Simple
Clint

Heaps more I could add, but you only asked for 14.
