Unbelievable......there is tagging a player but punching him when no one else is around.....and then telling the cheer squad to be quiet after they were yelling at him
If you cant handle the heat get out of the kitchen.....
Ultimate revenge.....Willo kicking the goals!

Didnt hear the incident but I give it to Firrito he was very good early and I didnt think he had that much pace.
But glad Willow kicked a few on him !
I saw the punch at the start of the game, curious to know if it was caught on camera. Probably not since it was foxtel covering.

It was in the first quarter....he just wouldnt leave Willo alone
Then in the third Willo kicked a goal and he was having a go at Willo about it telling him to look at the screen and then everyone was yelling at him and he turned around and looked at the crowd and put his finger to his mouth in a way that you do when you want to shoosh someone!

It probably wasnt.... it was right in front of the goal umpire though....it got to a point where the emergency umpire came out
Hopefully, he's still bitching now. :D

Did Mark cry?
At the future of the Kangaroos?
If so, then yes, he did.

Nope just kicked a couple more goals and we ended up winning
So Firrito can do the same thing the next time we play if he likes!

Were they the two from free kicks (one was there, the other was Mark being a female) or the one he kicked on Pratt?
Spud beat Williams today.

Ah geez, the Kangaroos really are an ordinary side.
Never actually looked like winning the match tonight - moreso they tried to prevent us from winning.
Long road ahead for them - seriously.

Firrito has to make his way somehow. He is not AFL standard.

Your mob's ridiculous flood was the only thing stopping Williams kicking 10 tonight, it had nothing to do with your aptly nicknamed scragger.
Loved it when Willow told the 37 Roos fans that turned up all about his fourth goal. Priceless.

You must be proud of Williams kicking his goals from soft free kicks. 3 out of 4 he was on fire :-)
Spud tore him a new one, Williams was saved from embarrasement from poor umpiring.

Soft free kicks?
The only thing that was soft that I saw was a man a head taller than Williams trying to beat him up.

Did Mark cry?
No, but what was that dampness on the faces of all the North fans after the game - sweating a bit too much?
Firrito is just a thug - Williams is smaller than him, so he acts tough. He tries to level the playing field with dirty stuff, but has nothing when the heats on.

With all due respect but where have the Hawks been the last few years?
Rebuilding? If so it's about time they started winning some games.
North are where you guys were a couple of years ago. The wheel always turns.

True, we can't deny this. But the fact that Laidley persists with playing over-rated older players in Brown and Green makes me wonder if he's the right coach for North Melbourne.
Players like Smith, Moran and Hansen should be given a chance now to prove their wares, otherwise the inevitable rebuilding path that North Melbourne choose to take could be a whole lot longer rhan it needs to be.

Firrito served only as a huffing and puffing bag of hot air. A truly undisciplined performance. His role was to stop Williams having an influence and scoring goals. He failed.
Instead, Williams bagged a lazy four and eventually was a major factor in the win.

Williams would have kicked ten if Laidley didn't play eight men down back.
In any event someone should have ran down to remonstrate with Burrito (who I think has 10 cms and 10 kilos on Williams) at the start of the game.
Disappointing.

I totally agree. I was really annoyed that no hawk players bothered to come over and help out Willo.

Hey, Norf boys - do you think you can avoid putting your knees into Williams' back when you jump into him, particularly when he's on the ground?
Thanks, I really appreciate your cooperation!

Riiight, because we all know Williams can't kick goals by himself, and Firrito is such a highly regarded defender....
I'm sure all North supporters are soooo proud to have such a lame headed, talent challenged colostomy bag like spud wearing the jumper.

Firrito is pretty limited. All he has got is the constant elbowing in the back when the ball is a mile away.
For a limited player he has done very well. On a good day he is a B grader.

I kind of enjoyed the Firrito effort. He was a total bastard, but then again that's what i like most about Osbourne. Sides need hard mongrels!
Great to see Williams rise above all that.

Really thats not nice(he's a family member of mine ffs), he is not a defender or definitely not a full back anyway its just north have no one else to play down there, better served in the midfield. Hawthorn is just jealous they missed him in the rookie draft. He is done o.k for someone who missed out on two drafts,he'll probably play over 100 games, hawthorn supporters would remember him for absolutely dominating the vfl at box hill when his role was to get the ball instead of trying to stop people from getting the ball as Laidley has used him,Laidley is a ********! I dont condone his actions if he did hit Williams but he has had to scrag and fight to be competitive at this level and Mark Williams is much quicker and was trying to obviously put him off his game if he roughed him up a bit. Dont condone the hitting though.
To say he is a total waste of space or orgasm as you put it is disgusting! How many games of league footy have you played?

Did Mark cry? Firrito will be crying when he is playing for Port Melbourne once the Kangaroos relocate. Better off staying at Box Hill.

Spud took the honours on Williams, was very good. Unfortunately he wasn't helped by any other defenders or his midfield.
We need four or five of him, as he is one of the few guys wearing blue and white who gives a sh*t. We need him in the midfield but we also need him in defence; I would have killed for another Spud to put on Mitchell last night, and in the end we probably should have made that move anyway.
Anyone who thinks he is an average footballer hasn't seen enough games. Every single team would love a Spud in their ranks.

http://www.sportal.com.au/football.asp?i=news&id=97253:
Absolute Shocker:Michael Firrito won't relish watching the vision of the second-quarter brain explosion that saw him give away a free kick to Mark Williams after he grabbed the full-forward around the neck off the ball. He then compounded his mistake following the umpire's whistle by giving Williams the gentlest of head knocks to give away a 50-metre penalty, putting the Hawk on the goal-line where he duly converted
Maybe I haven't seen him often enough, but all bag seems capable of is throwing cheap elbows at little blokes - he's like a medium sized Stafford, only without the ticker to front guys his own size.
