Should definitely prove to be an exciting match, just wondering who from here will be making the trip down?

I will be in Hobart on an end of season cricket trip, but will not get up to Launceston.
I am going to the Round 9 game v WCE though.

Ill be there..
Not headin down per say but I'll be attending.
Yes, PhilHawk, my mum's Tasmanian, and has been whinging for years that I haven't been down there to check out "the homeland" with her for 15 years or so, so I bought her a ticket, and we're heading down...
...on the proviso that she comes to the footy with me on the sunday of course!
Should be a good weekend all round.
Couple of queries, I'll be in Hobart, and heading up to Launceston in a hire car on the day...what's the parking like? Does it take long to get into the ground?
And finally, I got tickets online, is the Northern Stand ok?
Any locals care to set me straight?
Parking is generally pretty good.
Takes around 5 minutes at worst to get in from my experience.
The Northern Stand is alright but far from anything pretty or noteworthy.

Headed down Friday for a weekend of Pubbing/clubbing, Golf (Barnbougle dunes! :thumbsu: ) and of course to see the Hawks flex their muscle at the 'house of pain' - hawk park, on our 2006 biatches - the cats :D
I do believe when we met geelong at around the same time last year they were receiving similar hype..!!

I hope you're good at golf..Barnbougle is a course that will eat your balls.
I'm hoping to get back from Hobart in time to make the footy. Not sure yet...typically, work pineapples me the one time I don't want it too.

Fantastic. Thanks mate.
Not too bothered about silver service in the Northern Stand, just a decent view and a bit of atmosphere. Should be good.
