I’m the first to admit North Melbourne are one of my most hated sides (they share equal top spot with Richmond!) so it is with one-eye that I watch most Hawks vs. North matches and for the first time in a long time I am able to congratulate AC and the boys for not getting sucked down to North Melbourne’s level!
It looked for a while in the first half that we were doomed to combat their inept style and negative gameplan by employing more of the same and playing by their rules – An option that would have resulted in yet another ‘worst game of the season’ (see Hawks v. North at Aurora last year). But instead we worked hard and got our own hard-running, attacking game into gear and started to control the contest. It made for much better viewing and a ten goal half by the Hawks.
And for those stupid enough to point the finger at Hawthorn please see the North board where their supports are eating their own and calling for Malcolm Blight to take over the coaching reins.
May we never fear the blue and white poop shoot again!
PS. I welcome any North Melbourne trolls to form a decent rebuttal, but please be straightforward and attacking or you risk putting us to sleep.
