Much like the similar thread last week for Roughead, where can we fit Chance going into this weeks match against Geelong?

It's tough to mix with a winning combination, but surely Chance would be an immediate start in our 22 if fully fit.

Also, we must remember that Croad is also to come back and hopefully will play this week.

What do do about him? Play a KPP in Roughead off the bench?

Could prove dangerous to have a ruckman, KPP and only two midfielders on the bench though ...

Thoughts?

Looks like Boyle out, Croad in. Will need as much speed and endurance as possible against the Cats, so Bateman and Muston will be considered, but possibly part of a classy but fast bench. This will need to be a tall and three flyers for mine.

I think Rough might be dropped ahead of Boyle, Boyle has been more consistant and has had one bad game.

IN: Croad, Bateman
OUT: Ladson (injury), Roughead

I think I read that Croad will be out for a couple of weeks with the stress fracture.

If true, who cares about our ins or outs? We will lose!

i'd like to see Ellis still playing. I'd like to see Roughead dropped but i don't think he will because of Croad.

Still not sure on Croad. Read one article that said the Hawks were hoping both Bateman and Croad to available this week.

Other sources have said could be month off....

Ellis needs a break imo.

Let him play in the midfield of the VFL for a while.

Agreed. I am a fan of giving the young guys a few weeks and then sending them back to play most of the four quarters at BH to keep their fitness high and enable them to practice some of the lessons learned in a less intense environment.

Roughead out for Croad... Boyle not a chance of being dropped...

If Croads injured... Ellis out for Bateman... When Bateman is on his game he is one of the most underated and damaging midfielders around...

Dont get me wrong I wanna see Ellis get game time as much as anyone but he hasnt done enough so far to warrant selection before one of our game breakers in Bateman....
