Tell me again which game Kouta was at his best. I know there was one or two in there somewhere.

That's one or two more good games than Crawford has played in September.

Or period. :)

Crawford must be the only Brownlow medallist in history to be run down by a slow and lumbering ruckman. :D

His game against West Coast in 1996 round 5 is one of them

26 kicks 9 handballs 18 marks. Took the match winning mark in a game that was decided by 1 point.

Was it 2000 where Kouta hurt his knee in about round 17 against Essesdon, or was that 99?

2000 would've won the brownlow if he didn't go down

If you think it was only for one or two games, you have no idea and better watch some football.

Take a look at these seasons in particular: 1995, 1996, 1999, 2000 and 2001.

If you want specific games, I can also give them to you. But it's a lot more than "one or two". Either way, at his peak, he was fantastic.
