Swans Blue up Carlton

QBE – quite brilliant eh!
That’s the only way to describe the Swans fantastic win over Carlton.

17 goals 9 and holding the Blues goal less after half time and kicking a record winning margin will make Adelaide sit up and take notice!!

Young players such as Bennett and Stevens were most impressive. Goodes and Mott showed Allen and Prendegast a clean set of heels,Creswell closed down Ratten and well, I don’t think Sydney had a passenger – perhaps Daffy.

Who would think a team without Lockett (Who I wouldn’t bring back in),Schwass, Dunkley, Warfe and Ball could carve up Carlton like that.

Well Done ya buggers, I hope that was your good game for the fortnight:D

Thanks for the gracious comments guys - We were tearing out our hair last week!! But in the meantime we seemed to have sorted out some of the goalkicking problems.. and sharpened the skills out a bit!!

Nice to see some straight kicking for once

Apart from that - ummm, its kinda hard to say if we are getting better or not.

The opposition just wasn't there on Saturday - any team would look as good as we did if they were playing the Blues at the moment.

Certainly our best is as good as anyone - bring on the Crows !

Well done on a brilliant win, and well done on being basically the only set of supporters not digging right into us on the main board at the moment (even though you would be justified to do so).

Cheers, it was a pleasing win from our point of view. I rarely get stuck into anyone after a loss, except people who talked up their chances. I didn't see any of that from blues fans prior to the game, so no digging from me.

Besides, what would I say anyway, - "Geez Carlton are going badly" - don't think thats telling you anything you don't know yourselves.
