Selwoods name has been linked to paedophilia by journalists and the Headland family.
Should Selwood and the Eagles sue for compensation?

I think old man Headland is in a bit of strife. What was he thinking... or more to the point not thinking.
Sellwood has been cleared. There is obviously no proof to back up Headland's claim so anything said on the matter is slander.

Where there's smoke there's fire. The tribunal result means zip. Everyone knows that. Take it to Court and the Weagles will risk the real truth coming out. So there is no way they'll go down that path. It's all pure PR spin. A pathetic club culture. :)

Damn straight Parrot! Now lets go get blitzed with the Carlton leadership group and put a few barmen in headlocks before chating on our partners with young skanks ;)
Sorry you were saying something about patehtic club culture?
D... a few barmen in headlocks before c...
Getting into a pub altercation while drunk, is a bit different from being caught on tape by Fed making drug deals with criminals. Bit different from being linked to organized crime. Bit different from appearing in court on assault charges repeatedly. Bit different than having a rampant hardcore drug culture. Bit different than a football administration turning a blind-eye to their drug problem for several years. Bit different to Selwoods recent disgraceful behaviour. Bit different from having a life-threatening overdose while on a team trip, etc etc etc. Can you see a little pattern developing at Weagleland? Do you understand why the broader football community think your Club is a disgrace? Do you understand why Judd wants to return to Victoria? :)

selwood/the eagles might be entitled to sue but it would really only be a waste of time and an enormous distraction for selwood. better to move on. he says he's been defamed and all that - i couldn't care less about selwood off the field. my only concern is whether or not he and his teammates play well on the field, anything else i don't give a stuff about.
