View Full Version : Are the Dorkers the Biggest Under Achievers in the History of the AFL/VFL

It would be interesting to know from some of the best Minds here at BF if they believe that the Dorkers are the biggest under achievers in the game.
Out of all the clubs playing they are the only ones who have not won a Flag,won only 1 Finals game, no Medals of any sort except the wooden spoon:(.
This season they were mooted as the Flag fancies but the 0-3 start to the season and all their Suspensions leaves them Under Achieving again:D

With the team the Dorks have ( on paper ) why is it they always seem to FAIL!!!:D
Why is it they always blame others ( for their own mediocrity ) when they should be looking in their own back yard:D :D

i'm not right up to date on my stats, but haven't the bulldogs won just one flag in 80 years or so. kangaroos two in 80 years? or geelong - not many in 140 years? i'm not sure of exact figures.
but surely they go over and above a team which has only been in the comp 10 years or so.

They'll improve as the season goes on but your mob will remain scum, possibly sinking even lower. All class.

So far we've gone 12 years without a flag. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure there are a few clubs that have gone longer.

Obviously. In fact you could name 7 clubs that have currently gone longer than 12 years since a premiership. And a lot that took longer than 12 years to win their first premiership.
