Really good place to do a poll about someones favourite city... idiot!

BTW i thought we had already discussed this. Sydney is more popular as there are more people living here.

Spot on, Galon. This is the way I see it:

Sydney has a nice harbour.
Melbourne has everything else....

Sydney takes the cake on "Beautiful City" wise, but Melbourne shytes on Sydney living wise.

It depends where. The eastern suburbs in Sydney would be nice whereas the western suburbs would be hell on earth. Melbourne probably doesn't have places as nice as Sydney but it doesn't have places as bad either.

Incorret Galon - though correct on everything else.

In short, Melbourne has culture, Sydney doesn't - and I have been there for extended periods at least a dozen times so I'm not all that biased.
