These two guys IMO are in our best 22, but who do you think will make way for them?

Selwood will make way for Rooke, IMO, while DJ would get dropped for Harley.

depending on form... when Harley comes back in, if DJ is playing better footy than Hunt you would be tempted to make that switch instead..

Its so goodto have selection problems, on thing about last year was the drama was finding someone ready to repleace on of our best 22 now there is competition for spots in the 22.

Going on current positions it would be Rooke for Hunt [half back] and Harley for Mackie [back pocket],although Mackie could be moved to a different position.

Imo Harley is not in our best 22 anymore. Unless he improves his mobility he may be the "white elephant" of our team. Was a ridiculous choice as captain despite being a good public speaker.

it would not happen and cause a stir on this board but here goes:

In: M. Rooke
Out: C. Ling

Ling has been keeping his opponents very honest the last few weeks, and while he still tends to look sideways his disposal has improved too, I wouldn't drop him based on his current form.

johnstone was one of melbourne's best midfielders and set up a few forward thrusts. hardly honest.

rooke is a better stopper, and would be better and the centre bounce.

I think we'll probably have a few more injuries by the time Harley comes back, so there will be more spots in the team.

Yup, Johnstone was good, so was Ling, he (unlike usual) also set up a few forward thrusts and got himself on the scoresheet.

Rooke in for Selwood, Harley in for Mackie.

I think Rooke injured himself in the VFL match today! Just going on the reports in the VFL thread.
