Just flicking through the records the other day and it surprised me to know we are down to just one last Fitrzoy player remaining active in the AFL today

Is that correct or are there a couple others out tucked away who are also ex roy boys?

I know Daniel Ward played for the Fitzroy reserves, but i'm not sure that counts :P

If Johnson is the last remaining Fitrozy player, it will be a sad day when he hangs up the boots as it will be truly the end of an era then at VFL/AFL level.

Yeah it's very sad but I guess we had to expect that everyone would retire at some point........still saddens me though.
