25 Apr 2007, 16:36
That must be a record - 18 secs from a Bradley handling error on our 50m line to a Didak goal. How much longer do we have to keep him around for?

The Toecutter
25 Apr 2007, 16:38
Kepler Bradley is the new Kevin Walsh of the 2000's, better keeping him off put Hird in the backline along with Fletcher and Micheal and leave room for Lucas and Lloyd

I fear he will be the new Bolton. OH WAIT!! He played today too.

The best thing about the way we played in the first 4 rounds was that these 2 couldn't get a game.

He looks like he's about to fall over with every step he takes.

The most agitating thing, is that you know EXACTLY what he will do!

We all knew that he was going to kick it out on the full when having a shot in the 2nd quarter.

We all held our breath and prayed he wouldn't turn it over inside 50.....but nothing we can do, can stop his monumental stuff-ups which hurt the team no end.

I will guarantee you 2 things however:
1. Sheedy will pick him for more games despite this
2. He will be on our list next year

Essendon should sell voodoo dolls of him........it would be a top-seller!
I sure as hell WOULD buy one.

Fuc.k he makes me so angry!

Well in that case we should give him top marks in the best and fairest voting then!

If Bradley didn't play and we had only 21 players, there is no doubt in my mind we would have looked a lot better and come closer to Collingwood.

Yep, strange ins.

Bradley I can half understand, due to this myth that he is apparently a back up "tall". Again, hardly used as one today apart from when he was thrown on Cloke and got smashed, Ryder used as the second ruck and really is a nothing player who just runs around like a giraffe making mistake after mistake.

The Bolton one really suprsied, we could of rested numerous players from the VFL.

We are still developing, why suddenly do we go backwards? How can the match committee justify playing Bolton at all this season, save a last round or two game to end his career? Simply not part of our team now, or in the future. A total waste of a spot. Sure, Lonergan, Houli, Hislop, Gumby whoever may have done zero today, but at least get something out of it.

This was a perfect opportunity to blood a youngster, as a few will struggle to get games in this side this year.

You can lose, but still go forwards. I feel we went backwards today, that's what is hurting the most.

We need bite around the packs, clear as day. We simply arent good enough in this area. JJ will come back, but guys like Lonergan and Hislop have to be introduced and persisted with at various times this season, in the hope they can step up to the plate in 08/09. This are still needs huge development.

bit harsh, he is definately struggling, but you can't fault his courage backing into to packs at least, the game just needs to slow down a little more when he has the football, it is something he can work on

he is categorically the most awkward footballer ive eva seen! Exactly as someone else said he looks as if hes going to loose his footing with every step he takes. He coughs it up immediatly when tackled (something alot of our players do....) and has no compusure or football brain. Plus his shorts are 8 sizes too big (perhaps why he runs as if he is gunna trip ova). Hes an absolute disgrace and i cant be believe we have wasted a no.6 draft pick on such an insipid **** like this.

And dyson well ****. the moment where he and Heath Shaw were running at the ball together and he was so soft it defies all human logic. I mean even the softest bloke in the world would raise somewhat for an anzac day clash infront of 90000 ppl, late in a tight game. Just soft and coughs it up....

Im afraid we got far too ahead of ourselves with a few early wins. Unfortunately the comp will do that cos its so even that a little role will mean u probably win three or four games in a row.

Outs; Bolton, Bradley (both for good), Dyson, Heff, Johns
Ins; Hislop, Dempsey, Windelich, Welsh, Hille

He Kicks the ball like a Reserves Footballer

He Runs like a reserves footballer

He deals with pressure like a reserves footballer

So why the hell was he playing in the Seniors! Absolute Disgrace that he was brought back. We looked a better team in first 4 weeks without the cough up kings Bradley and Bolton. Well never get anything for either of them anymore so I bet theyll continue to play next year. What a joke. Bradley you are a disgrace!

I doubt Heff and Johns will get dropped, Heff certainly wont. Dempsey is out for a month with a hammy and so wont come in.

No. This is wrong. And that's not just being a Thursday's expert.

The rise and fall of Kepler Bradley has evoked a great deal of debate on this site over the past 2 seasons (and certainly even before that). Last year he didn't perform any great miracles (Scotty did, McPhee had a few, and Hille tried his guts out) and you'd never have seriously said he won us the game. He does need confidence, but not just from when the team is winning. He looks good when we're dominating the contest, but panics and loses the plot if we don't. Our great hope in recruiting Gumbleton was that he might be able to do what Bradley couldn't. Hopefully he still can.

Bradley has had far more chances than he deserves, probably just because of his height. Sure he can mark, and does stumble into contests. It always looks courageous, even against opponents much smaller than him, because he has no ferocity in his attack. What happens after that mark is painfully cringeworthy. If we're lucky a running teammate collects a handball for an effective disposal. Otherwise he bombs it with a loping pass that gives opponents time to ballot for themselves who will intercept. Or while he's looking for options 'play-on' is called, he's tackled and the ball is turned over. And who kicks backwards from the half-back line ever?

So no more chances. Perhaps he can dominate for Bendigo, and good on him if he does. But he's not an AFL competitor, and shouldn't remain on the senior list beyond 2007.

You've been on this board no more than a month, maybe two? Bradley has sparked much debate over the past season and he is STILL yet to live up to the tag of a top ten draft pick, let alone an AFL footballer.
