Very poor skills by boths sides. Only reason Essendon is in it still is due to poor kicking by Collingwood. Terrible umpiring in first quarter. Can't believe that free kick against Clement. Notice Lloyd doesn't get a kick unless the umpire gives it to him or he's waiting for a soft receive behind the pack. That first goal should have been handballed to Davey who was running into an open goal, not by a glory seeking Lloyd who snapped very unconvincingly. Does Collingwood have a forward line? What's happened to Lucas?
Lots of pressure, big crowd, blood pumping from a stirring warm-up - its no surprise there's been a few skills errors. Towards the end of the half it improved a lot, plus its close so it should be a ripper of a second half

Hope it improves. Let's not shy away from it though, both sides have a lot of ordinary players and on the big stage, they are being exposed.
