Be watching to see how Bigfooty's own 'Col Dawg' Colin Garland goes in his AFL debut for the Dees tonight.
Also Ricky Petterd making his debut for the Dees, although he's not a Queenslander as the commentators keep saying, he was born in Hobart, his father was a two time premiership player, senior coach and life member at Hobart in the TFL.
Ricky and family moved to the Gold Coast when his father resigned as coach of Hobart in their second last year in the TFL in 1996.

I remember Ricky as kid.

Quarter time and the term "RingaDingDinga" has never been more apt.

This is the football equivalent of Horlicks.

I hope we win a 2nd quarter this week, we haven't won a 2nd quarter all season.

So he spent most of his footy development period in Qld then? Drafted form Qld = Queendlander. Anyway, minor quibble. I see he's leading the possies for the Dees. He likes getting the hard ball from my memory of seeing him on occasion in the AFLQ last year. Wish we'd picked him up.

Sorry just noticed you posted, yes he's done well, got in and won the hard ball plenty of times.
Impressed with him.

His old man was a tough full back, played on Dunkley and Groenewegan in his last premiership. :thumbsu:
