Certainly earning his fee in this game, it was a fairly dead pitch and a bit of proactive captaincy from Warnie with setting such a teasing and gettable (it was 500 runs but Surrey bat all the way down and they had over 140 overs to do it in) target JUST paid off... He likes dangling the little carrot, he'll be rather annoyed about the long day in the field as we face Essex this morning (10.45) in a big FP trophy game... The sooner Stuey Clark gets here the better.

Still got it.
I'll go to England to see Warney play a County game in the next couple of years.
This is a deserving sticky thread:D
Was getting out all the tricks apparently, bowled 2 wrong'un's in succesion (Both went for four) but it shows he's still got it all and how much he wants this County Championship title!

I'll continue to post his county championship stats as the winter progresses. It's 16 games and I bet he fancies 100 wickets and Mushtaq is on fire as well so should be interesting.
