No one has still explained to me since when has Kinglake Panton hill Eltham Diamond creek etc been in the Northern suburbs?
Also arent half the teams in the EDFL more geographically in the northern suburbs? does this mean next year the EDFL gets split in two ie half to the North eastern footy league and half to the WFL?

What's so confusing? How many people are going to start talking about the 'NFL' then 10mins into the conversation the other blokes goes, "oh shit, are you talking about local footy, I was thinking you meant American Football".. can't see it happening.

I doubt it.
Chances are the wanted to escape the name that Floydy and his mates had turned to shit and it turns out that NFL was the most suitable name.

It's a bit like half full/half empty.

The name has changed so either you accept it and help the name take hold or you complain and undermine the new concept.

Ask yourself, do you want a league where you are playing?

Yes or No?

If the answer is No keep whining and undermining the whole thing.

If Yes use the NFL Moniker as often as you can to get people use to the new name.
