Just curious on who you feel we may have drafted with our first pick if Gumbleton was our priority pick. In any other year we would of gotten picks #2 & #4. If Carlton had #1 & #3 they would of naturally taken Gibbs and I would make an assumption on Leunberger with #3 given their ruck stocks. I think Selwood would of been the obvious #4 pick for us and could of potentially made an instant impact the same way he has at Geelong. Makes you feel a bit ripped off in a way doesn't it :mad:

Nothings to say he won't end up better, whats to say he will be better though? I like little Jetta but realistically we took a developmental player with our first pick and I felt we should of gone with a player able to provide an imediate impact on the senior team with our next pick.

I'm happy with who we got.
I think Gumby was the unanimous No. 2 choice and I think that was the right decision as we need to replace Lloyd and Lucas in 4 years.
If we had No. 4 though on what I've seen so far I would love to have got Selwood.
Hopefully Houli does something special and in a few years when people are talking about what the top 10 of 2006 should've really been Gumby, Houli, Jetta and Hislop are all mentioned.

We rated Jetta pretty highly, we might have drafted him anyway.
It probably would have come down to Jetta and Selwood.

i think he has a brother, who was commonly referred to the Freckled face fart machine in school. could be wrong.

North's first pick, #3 overall. will be a gun CHB/CHF. Wolud have been great to get both Gumby and Hansen but very happy with our picks none the less.
