No!

Actually think they are underated. They've suprised me immensely. They've been playing above themselves all year so far. I didn't think they would win a game but they came out and flogged West Coast by a whole point..........Hope they can continue to push themselves to maintain this dizzying high standard. Any drop in the level that they are at now will see them drift back to the pack.

I think they are a bit by their own supporters, but then that's normal I guess. I think Collingwood have potential to challenge for the eight this season, but unless some of the younger players can step up to the mark and be consistant, 8-10 wins looks the most likely again this season, but you never know. ;);)

I rate them as pretty ordinary so I think I haven't overrated them but by the press YES.

Mark McGough didnt get the rising star award, so obvisouly he didnt..

And yes they are- but u can blame McGrinChin for that..
If they were really like what there rated like, the would have been in the finals for the last 7 years, and they would have won a premiership recently..

You can say that about ALL the Rising stars then. Most of them have only played a couple of games, in fact have to be under 10 to get the nomination.

Overated ? - no, nobody really knows how well the pies are travelling atm. A fantastic effort against Essendon followed on from a pathetic performance against Carlton, they are just as likely to go down against StK this weekend.

They are too up and down atm to be rated at all.

Overhyped, Overexposed, Overpromoted, - yes, most definitely. I'm glad I don't live in Melbournme, I really couldn't stand it with Collingwood / MacGuire in my face, on my radio, in my newspapers, on my TV every minute of every day.

yuk - I just don't get that.

Who are Collingwood anyway ? (for chrissake ?????)

Up and down? I disagree.

From the outset (ie. game against you guys at Manuka) we have been behind the 8-ball in terms of form and development.

Carlton was an aberration. Selection of poorly skilled players was foolish and we played like Essendon on Thursday and against a fired up opponent! One development slip-up, not a yo-yo effect!

I think we are a better unit than Sydney and will continue to improve as players like Molloy & O'Bree (and Tarrant) come back and the form of Nicky Davis (he's staying right here) and Josh Fraser improves!!

Collingwood are the greatest team in the VFL/AFL and have won 1301 games, which is more than anyone else.

Skilts ,Couldn't have said it better myself .Im certainly hoping the Pies are overated ,as I'm trying to convert my girlfriend away from them.It would be much harder if they did really well this year.

Are there certain things about the calendar they didn't teach you at school?

Collingwood supporters can't work out why everyone else thinks they're ****holes. If I were you, I'd read what your compatriots have written after this game. They aren't satisfied with a win they want to rub people's noses in it. Unfortunately, this attitude has caught on, thus Essendon and Carlton supporters.

The reason your supporters have copped so much flak, since you decided not to participate in the competition, in 1994, is the way you are when you win. 'Odious' and 'pustule' are two words which come to mind.
