I heard on 3AW last night in the car that Krak might want out of Richmond at the end of the year? Didn't catch where this had come from but it was mentioned...
Apparently Port has shown interest. (Doesn't suprise considering success of Rodan).
I just heard this on the radio, this is not a troll...take it as you wish. Anyone else hear about it?
And lets smash port this week boys :thumbsu:
I dont care if its him that wants out, or the club want him out,
i just want him out at seasons end

He doesn't have many fans atm... he's been a fav of mine for years but this season he just hasn't met my expectations.
He has so much talent. Danny Frawley said he has no doubt Krakouer is the best in-close player in the league.
If he had an athletes body he would be a gun, but unfortunately his fitness and leg speed restrict him to 14 possession games.
At Coburg he got 36 possessions because you don't need to be such an athlete. I reckon 15 years ago he would have been a star and he is struggling to keep up with the pace atm.
If he went to Port they would fix this. They will put him through whatever it takes to get him right and if they can get the best out of RODAN... then Krakouer might be even better.
The Krakouer we just drafted is looking like his going to turn out into a gun i would be happy to get the other one if he shows half the ability that Nathan Krakouer shows

LMAO.
How long since Krak kicked 5?
Tambling kicked 4 in one quarter against the Prems.
Pack it Krack.

Agree. Well i hope he wants to go if not we should trade or delist him. 7 Years of failure. The sooner we show him the door the better it will be for all.

:) Afforded myself a chuckle at that one too!
Has Krak ever bagged five goals in a game?
Struggles for five possessions a game these days at senior level!!!
Had his chances!

Of course he has kicked 5 goals in a game! Kicked 4 several times too.
There was a period last year where I thought he was about to take the next step, but then he got injured. He is frustrating but you can't dispute his talent.

GAWN!!!!
Get rid of him. He has had plenty of chances to show what he can do but somehow cant do it.
i would say he's on his last chance this week. if he doesnt perform get him out and keep him out! might get somethin decent for him:cool:

wont be offered another contract, has no scope for improvement, we should be able to assist with his wishes

Is this because he got the shove from the senior team, so now he is going to take his bat and ball and go somewhere else? Not a lot of spine being shown here. Should he not want to stick it up Terry by showing he is a good footballer and essential to Ricmond?
By the way, I don't think the Rodan story is over yet, it probably should be reviewed at the end of the year, then I think we will get a reasonable sample of his form.

We should trade him but only because hes not going to succeed with us. He's going to make us look silly. If we can get a fair trade maybe it can become a win win situation.

Hopefully if he does go we can get a 3rd or 4th round pick for him, or maybe even organise a trade were we get Brogan and ports 4th round pick while they get Krakoer and our 4th round pick. Just a thought
Hopefully he doesn't have to change clubs through the PSD and we get nothing

Brogan? there is no chance he will be traded and especially not for Krakouer you would have to throw in a 2nd round pick too

I like Krakouer - when he's hot, he's absolutely magic. And yet he seems to be cold more than he is hot.
I'm not sure how to address this, but I think talk of delistings at this stage in the season is rubbish. If he WANTS to go as the thread states, then there's little the Tigers could sensibly do to keep him and it's not worth worrying about.

Krakouer = Second round or early third round pick at the least. If this is not offered i hope we don't trade him away. 100 (almost) game players are currently hard to find at the RFC.
I doubt we'd want him. We've already got a better Krakeour

What's happened to him?
He used to be a decent footballer.hes never been a decent footballer its this delusion that keeps him at the club and supporters wanting him in the side. what a f&^%%$ing disgrace hes back this week. those in charge are as weak as piss.
and on the topic i really hope he wants out perhaps he knows the writing is on the wall.i want him traded delisted at any cost 7 yrs of nothing from this dud no wonder we are a laughing stock.
Is this the same Krakouer who has legal issues in WA?

That's just laughable. So you expect Port to trade an in-form premiership winning ruckman for an out of form small with an exchange of 4th round picks as icing on the cake for us?!
Discounting the fact Port wouldn't trade Brogan, that's mad. Quality ruckmen are just about the most precious football commodity. Given even the best don't reach eye catching form till mid-20's you'd need to exchange picks a lot higher then 4th round. I doubt even 2nd would do it.
Sure it must be a pain headed towards the spoon, but you have to face reality and if a small player who can't crack it consistently in the bottom side is up for trade you aren't going to get an offer over a late 3rd round pick at best (using picks alone).

When he's "on" it's poetry - the only problem is he no longer gets "on".
We've been hypnotised by his dazzling skill for 7 years but he's only played perhaps 15 "good" games. Too many times under 10 possessions - we've got plenty of players who can do that!
Sorry Andy, it's time to either get your shit together or you'll have to get your shit together.......in a suitcase.
Krak, Jackson, Moore, Hartigan, Hall, Kingsley, and maybe Meyer are at the crossroads.
So that can be up to 8 exits (including Gaspar), with only about 2 of the above tradeable. Promote 2 from the rookie list and it looks like 4th round draft picks as a minimum.
Keep on turning them over until we find the right mix.
If he wants to go back home to WA then we can swap him for Sandilands. Fair swap:)

You guys are mad. Krak is awesome. Best crumber we have.
Ports 2nd round pick.
We arguably have the second best set of smalls after West Coast. Why on earth would we chase an inconsistent small forward/midfielder who can't demand a spot in the bottom side? Port has deficiencies in KPP's as the need most immediately in need of addressing. A Rodan type pickup would be the only way we'd chase him.
I like the Tiges, so I can see why you hope to get good picks or players given your current dire straights, but this thread is rapidly losing any touch with reality, with regards what you think your Krakouer would get and what would be offered. Turn it around and would you be happy to give up a second round pick for a small who's played a handful of good games the last 2 or 3 years? I doubt it.

Where is Salopek going with his career at the moment (haven't seen much footy this year unfortunately)?
Can a Krakouer for Salopek trade be done, assuming Salopek is homesick and wants to come home.

This is madness !!!
Krak is great when he gets the ball. Problem is he never gets it. Like many of our midfielders, he cant find his own footy !!!
The other problem is that he still appears in my nightmares constantly hugging 'good guy, but cant coach' Frawley.
How did we ever let a bloke, who never had the recipe, coach us for so long ?????

Until he got a hamstring strain Salopek had stepped it up another gear this year, having 20+ quality (not chip bullshit) possession games. One of the reasons our midfield is getting such good wraps this year. Probably our 4th best midfielder- but considering those ahead are Burgoynes x2 and Pearce, that's still damn good. Better then Kane Cornes definitely.
Unless he's desperately homesick Port wouldn't trade him in a fit unless a young quality KPP was involved in the trade.

Thanks but no thanks
Trades where one club gives up a quality player for any number of sub par players just do not get done these days
If Port wanted Andy Krakouer my guess is we'd be able to get him with this years last National Draft pick, ala Rodan (who is doing very well thanks muchly)
