6 years is a long time not to beat a team... However, I think it will be broken tonight.. have a good feeling about it for some reason.. Hille back is a huge positive with Laycock showing that he is not ready to be an AFL ruckman and we can move Ryder back to CHB...

So what does Laycock do. You say he is not a ruckman, he's no forward. Freeloader ?

i dont think he's ready to be a ruckman, but as he showed in the freo game, he is capable of going forward, taking a few good marks and then kicking a goal
i say give him a run up forward, give us another tall to kick to against the roos (relatively) small backline.

I have noticed when we tackle it appears sometimes they are soft tackles and our players dont hold onto the player long enough to hold them .
Speed in the midfield is where the Roos have us so we need to get to the ball first by quick positioning of our bodies and leg speed .The Roos are very quick on the flanks as well and are not afraid to kick goals outside the fifty or at least have a go .
When the ball is in our forward 50 the opposition clear it easy as our players let them go and dont BACK TACKLE .
We need to learn not to have soft hearts and not to give in too easily and to run out a game .
The Roos walk through brick walls for each other ,,are we prepared to do that ?
6 years sound like a lot but there have been some close games that could have gone either way.

It looks like in the end sheedy will have a bogey team and coach he couldn't win against, dean laidley coached kangaroos.
Very unlikely he will be coaching against them again.

And to think North have only made the finals on two occassions in that span.
The bigger shame falls on your BIGGER CLUB unable to turn thier list over in 3-4 years after dropping the 2001 season. Some Bomber realists are aware of this. the rest are living in denial.
In the meantime, I'm still in SOAKING THE WIN when we really played 40m wheras you guys played a dominate first quarter (flashbacks from the 1998 finals) and couldn't sustain the crucial third quarter goal after goal burial.
The umpiring is a lottery. No point sooking about it. I'm not a fan of the AFL's ways either.
