What was the story behind Jason being delisted from the Pies' rookie list?

I have heard whispers of him being completely uncommitted to anything except the party lifestyle, is this accurate?

Has been a revelation at Brisbane in defense, it appears getting delisted from the Pies was the kick up the arse he needed.

BTW: Looking forward to playing you guys in 2 weeks! Should be a cracker. I think the Pies are just a little ahead of us at the moment but playing at the Gabba makes it a 50:50 I reckon.

Only know of the whispers too.

He definitely had a lot more talent than most other rookies, but then drifted in and out of games. It's hard to make it off the rookie list at the best of times though, and whilst he & Lovett-Murray show bits and pieces, it was too erratic at the time to promote them.

I don't think he was that good anyway. I remember some intraclub match where he went ok against Tarrant, but that was about it.

Never committed at the Pies. Delisting was a win win scenario, gave him a chance to look at himself, gave us room to retain Maxwell that extra year.

I remember reading an article about him last year when he started playing well for Brisbane. He admitted that he was a party boy and that being cut was the wake up call he needed.
