Get along and watch Ryan Anderson. Criminal someone didn't draft him last year and even though he is 'just' a rover he is a good chance to play his way onto the Richmond list (or at least rookie list).

I agree we should have taken him with our last pick last year. Can find the footy and has the necessary speed for the game. With 2 preseasons in the AFL he could move into a midfield role.

Id also like to see Sam Robertson get picked up by us. If we got these 2 boys with our last 2 picks then I wouldnt be to displeased.

Lets hope Riewoltd, Casserly, Conners, Meyer and Edwards have good games because there will no doubt be a few changes again this week

I think its criminal not to play Moore while Thursty is out, Deledio got killed by White earlier today

Robertson doesn't like the physical stuff too much. Ducks his head in marking contests. Was close to being picked up but really found out in a couple of games. If he can get tougher he could be a handy option for fullback - but having watched his junior career I wouldn't count on it.

Pretty hard to tell from the radio coverage.

Moore sounds like he's played well on Watts.
Edwards and Connors getting a bit of it.
No real mention of Thursfield.
Jack getting a bit but reasonably quiet.
Graham not mentioned much.
Jackson getting a bit more of it early in the second.
Not much talk of Meyer and Casserley as yet.

Half way through the 2nd quarter and Jack has 3 goals :thumbsu:

Meyer getting big wraps.

Thursfield quiet but apparetly initiated a brilliant piece of play which resulted in a Riewoldt goal.

Personally I would like to see Jack debut against Essendon, not adelaide. Get the kid in for the dreamtime a the G and lets have another debutant tear up the bummers like polo did last year.

He'll struggle in adelaide.

Gee he sounds like he as the goods.

I agree with Krak getting the flick however Tiv played ok (BOG in Herald sun and Age) so i cant see him getting dropped.

Anyone know how THURTSY played?

I know and totally agree with you. Stabbed at it on numerous ocasions and the ball came up short just raising the point which would have an outcome on the decision undoutbably

I want Jack to debut in Adelaide but I think he'll struggle against the Crows and Terry probably wants him to debut in front of a huge crowd in the dreamtime match at the G.

Good to hear about Moore and Edwards doing very well too :thumbsu:

Moore has to come back in with the Crows taller forward line. Edwards to play in his home state and take JON's place?

tigerT
13 May 2007, 19:16
yeah good call sante on edwards for Jon. Jon has had what 3 games in a row in the seniors now? Gotten a taste, showed a bit, has deficiencies, now is a good time to go back to coburg and put together a sustained run of good football and next time he forces his way in, which will hopefully be in a month, he will be a better footballer.

He is such a great coach for young guys. I was playing at mitcham in under 17's and i'd play 2 games most saturdays just cos he asked me to. He is the kind of guy you just want to prove yourself too.
