ive decided to make a thread for DIEHARD fans. NO TROLLS, NO SLEDGING, NO ABUSE. Tell me what you think.

This board is already die hards. Number of guys sat through games in the eighties and nineties. What a tour of duty that is.
Reading opinions I disagree with is all part of why we read this forum.
The trolling of other supporters is boring. Its all kiddies stuff but Richmond fans are able to say what they are thinking and not what they should say is what makes it interesting.
If the Richo thread upset you, I agree it was over the top, but some Richmond fans arent as thrilled with Richo as others.
Just allows those who love him to come to his defence.
That thread shows that they the ones who want Richo gone are in the minority.

I make this thread for those who are annoyed with trollers. Noone is forcing you to come on to the thread. if you dont like it, there are plenty of threads. Its just my opinion.

Good idea, though I hope the contributions are going to be a little more meaningful than the one before mine. :rolleyes:
So what exactally are we supposed to discuss in said thread? I'm at a loss I love my tiges but without being able to bag them (constructive criticism) there's very little to talk about these days suffice to say I bleed yellow and black and always will no matter how crap we get.
.... just say what you think about richmond.
I think they are somewhat incompetent at playing football.

I do have something to say in this thread however. I personally have never accused another Richmond supporter of not being a 'true' supporter or of being any less of a supporter than me or anyone else. I don't have a desire to, why would I? Why would I attack one of our own and try to cast them out of this great club of ours? Everyone's entitled to their opinion and football clubs attract members and supporters from all walks of life so I say let them have their say, don't exacerbate the situation with abuse, agree or disagree but never.....NEVER accuse another supporter of not being a true Richmond supporter or any less of a supporter than anyone else. We are one, but we are many. We share a dream and sing with one voice, I am, you are, we all are TRUE Richmond supporters. But we all support them in our own ways and never lose sight of what is in any Richmond supporter's heart.
And how will you go about keeping out the trolls?

I sat through games in the early sixties with my dad when we were just as bad as we are now.

A troll is someone who insults their team. I dont insult my team. I give opinions. I admit the merge thing was more of a saturday nite joke and prob got a bit outta hand. Im on here to express my opinions about Richmond. Not to troll. So no, i wont get off. Thanks, bye.

A troll is someone who insults their club and a diehard is someone who loves the club nonetheless. A diehard can make opinions and suggestions thinking of the better of the club. A troll insults what the club stands for.
I am not one to judge who is a troll and neither are you. Everyone knows whether they are a troll or diehard, or maybe both. By judging people on whether they are a troll or not is saying whether their post was an insult or a suggestion for the better of the club. Noone can judge who or not is a troll. Leave that to the Richmond Board of Directors.
