View Full Version : Anyone see the idiots with the Banner??
A couple of our supporters up on the top levels at the end of the game unfurled a big banner reading "Trade Rocca he cant kick"
anyone else see this?? Absolute idiots.
everyone around me down on level 1 gave them big rounds of boos.
Not real supporters in my opinion, and especially stupid considering the performance Rocca just turned it. I could only assume the twits spent half the week making it and didnt want their effort to go to waste.

IDiots, people have to relise pebs or trav can have 1 touch up to 3 quarter time and then just come out and blow them away. Quick mark spin around and kick a goal from 65 70 meters out. Its the difference between winning and losing. Thats why Pebs will never be dropped

What a bunch of drop kicks!:thumbsd: And to think, they call themselves Collingwood Supporters!:mad: Rocca was the one who reignited us with those couple long bombs and Clokeys work rate was just sensational if thats who they were referring to!
i also get frustrated with Cloke, and 4 weeks ago i had had enough of him also, but he is young and the last couple of weeks has improved dramatically.
his kicking needs serious work, but he took 11(?) marks today and had some handy touches. atleast the ball went through when it mattered.
I have also been annoyed with Rocca, but i just dont see what such a banner can do for the team besides do the guys confidence some damage.

Travis Cloke is starting to become trouble for oppositions... god he frustrates me with his kicking but for all the effort he puts in I'll live.
You've gotta love him for his persistance... he was extactic when he kicked his first goal after missing the first five. Great highlight for me because his confidence just sky-rocketed after that moment.

Why? He has been better than Rocca in recent weeks who has produced 2 goals in a 10 minute burst over that time and alot of behinds

Was probably the same moron who rang up Triple M after the game asking why we select Travis Cloke every week when he has done nothing to justify his position in the team.
Sure his kicking can let him down, but big whoop. He got them when they mattered most and he works his ass off. He's only going to get better and better.

I am happy to discuss whom I think we should trade and why but I wouldn’t ever unfurl a banner like that about a Collingwood player. How can you equate the two things? Should we all just ignore player and list deficiencies?

Settle down MarkT I know he may have misused the word hypocrites but what he meant was idiots who won't exactly be putting a banner up saying "I'm sorry I made a mistake, Rocca is now kicking good, he is a valuable player" they are about as unnaccountable as bigooty trolls.

*AFL will not allow it.I remember as a kid they used to string this massive banner up along the front of the second level of the old southern stand that read "Collingwood domination, envy of all the nation".
