A Royal return for Eagle Prior
By Russell Reid
MICHAEL PRIOR will make his long-awaited league comeback in the WAFL clash between East Perth and Swan Districts at Bassendean Oval today.
It will be Prior's first game since a second knee reconstruction 11 months ago.
Prior injured his knee in the Eagles"71-point loss to Port Adelaide at Subiaco Oval on May 13.
The 28-year-old defender had his first knee reconstruction in 1998 when playing for Essendon.
Today's match will be Prior's 45th for East Perth after 81 with the Bombers and seven with West Coast.
<snip>
The rest is about the two teams playing each other.
I'm glad he's back and playing. When he gets up his fitness again he will be a handy player down back and could fill in the small defender void. On the WAFL, will be interesting to see how Sampi plays today. Any of the other Eagles boys playing in the televised match?
