I am looking to take my family from North Queensland to Melbourne next year for the ANZAC day game between Maggies and Bombers! However, I don't want to do the big treck if we don't have tickets!!
How does one go about getting tickets for a game like this, and how quickly do they get snapped up?
Would we have a better chance if we were an interstate member?
Any advice would be appreciated. I know it's a long way in advance, but when you have to book flights, and organise days off, I have to start planning.
Thanks

I'd advise looking for the tickets and see if they're availble around round 1 or so or perhaps even before.

But when and where do tickets go on sale...ie could you get tickets to a round 17 game now? Who sells them?

No they don't go on sale until next year. Before round 1 at the earliest. Games at MCG and TD are sold through Ticketmaster. http://www.ticketmaster.com.au

Try calling Pie in the Sky, or whatever our footy travel agent is called. Ring the club and someone there should be able to tell you their number.

I'm pretty sure they get some seats allocated and if you book your flight through them they can organise a flight/game ticket package.

Tickets go on sale at the start of March for ANZAC Day for members, general public probably not long after although this year everyone could get them from the beginning of March
