Played in the under-12s and was shite so I gave it up...made my triumphant return for my hall last year and was the biggest down hill skier in the team. When we played sides that were half foreigners I'd kick a couple a game, when we played teams who actually knew their stuff I did nothing.

Yep, I play. We had a good win today. I had to rush home, have shower, get changed and head off to the footy, which topped off a good game.
Play seniors every week then Superfools every second Sunday just love my footy.

I am 22 and both my knees are ****ed already. 1x arthroscopy, 2x scrapings, and 1x ACL reconstruction later I'm seriously considering giving it up.

I do, but i havent played in Darwin yet, trained a bit with The magpies but havent played a game with them yet, played a heap down south. Its great when im home in Darwin cause we play in the wet season, so its the off season in the AFL, so you get to watch most of the games, especially with fox.

Play for Carey in the APS after doing basketball (come from a basketball family) for 3 years. Never played for a club just for school.

1 year into retirement................damn it sucks. don't even go down to watch the team anymore, becasue I know i will end up playing again, and the body can't take it anymore. Only 31, but when you have played as a mobile ruckman at 6 foot 3 inches against the likes of Monkhurst (post Collingwood - YVMDFL days) and about 5 others built like him...............well my shins, ankles and knees are a little shot due the constant collisions.
Bugger it might make a comeback mid year :D

Played heaps as a junior and tried out for the Falcons of 2005, missed out then did my knee. Knee has never been the same and it's hard to run now.
In saying that I'd love to play again, maybe not at the level I used to, so what teams do you guys play for in the Geelong/Torquay area?
Yeah I play, my first year of playing Aussie Rules, just playing in the ressies comp here in Central Queensland, learning as I go. Thank god I seen the light and ditched rugby league.

AFL needs more converts like you - especially when you pick a great side to support. My cousins are from bris-vegas, plays for one Sheffield in the UK now, but all they talk is bl**dy rugby.
No idea.
