Wouldn’t surprise me at all if it is Ricciuto. He’s pretty much the only one it could be.

my guess is bigglands.. i think craig would have been honest and upfront with him and told him there is no room as we need to develop our youth and keep one experienced ruckmen (hudson) on..

Gets!

I was going to say he was going to be granted his own AFL club licence....:thumbsu:

My 2nd guess is Tony Modra?

I don't think it will be Biglands as I think he is planning on playing at the end of this season if we make the finals, he is very keen to play, he was also up in Brisbane if that means something cryptic...yep I will spill the beans it's Chris Groom he has had enough!!

I have heard from a reliable source that Barry Standfield has been tapped on the shoulder so he is jumping before he is pushed.

Sad day for the Adelaide Football Club.

It was mentioned on the news that Ben Hart is likely to annouce tomorrow that he is retiring from all football. It would appear to confirm AFC made the right tough decision.

Of course they did. This was evident even without the benefit of hindsight.

Will be interesting to see if McDermott will concede he was wrong and apologise to the Crows with a centre page spread. :(

I thought he was referring to Hart and just wanted to confirm it by the year as I suspected it was giving us his playing number.

...So they have strung us along because Ben Hart is going to retire from his SANFL club?

If that's the case what a load of misleading bull**** that is.

Not really KG said it was a former AFL player

I don't understand what you mean.

KG made it clear he wasn't talking about a current AFL player.

How is that misleading ?

There are rumours that he will retire this week and that he will play in our next game against Centrals so I have no idea.

James Moore released a statement in today's Tiser that Ben Hart trained the other night and should play against Centrals.

Assuming there is some truth to this, what reason would Ben Hart have to retire? Has he been injured? Is he playing poorly? I haven't followed his progress this year.

He played in Round 1 and in the first half he was absolutely brilliant and looked set for a big year but he hasn't played since.

From North's Official Website..........

Adelaide is an easy place to tap into the rumour mill. On what must have been a slow news day, many North fans were given every indication that Ban Hart was going to announce his retirement form all forms of football on Thursday. It was heard on a local radio station that an "AFL Legend, now playing SANFL Football" was about to retire, Ben was actually named during a 6pm News Bulletin on television.

Never pays to wreck a good rumour by checking the facts! It was ironic that whilst the rumours / announcements were circulating, Ben was actually on the training track in preparation for the Centrals match.

Whilst when, and how many games Ben Hart plays for North this year can never be predicted with certainty, his input as our Defence Coach has been noticed by all Rooster fans. Ben Hart is a person of substance and would certainly have advised the Club first in the event of any change in plans.

But that's footy!!!

The question that really needs to be asked is how KG and Cornes take their pay cheques every week and manage to sleep at night.

I think we all know the rumour was supposed to be Ben Hart. Heard today he is going to try and continue. Wonder where all the knockers were when Ben was delisted. If he was still on the list it would be just another wasted space. Hope Roo doesn't try to go to the well once too often.

I think they both have a direct debit for pay. I think they do a good job in entertaining. If you don't like them...TURN OFF!!

As for sleep....I reckon one would have a good time in bed...and you know what oldies do then......SLEEP.
As for the other oldie I reckon he'd be asleep in his chair before he got to bed!!
