I know I was a little upset when Woosha decided to let Scotty go, but I feel Johnny was now right in his decision. Wilson is the best option at FF for us, his kicking has improved, he leads for the ball and seems to be able to play out a full game without injury.
I am not sure how the rest of you feel, but I am feeling happy about the decision. I do wish Scotty the best......
I was very upset that Cummings was let go, the main reason being was that apart from liking Cummings as a character, to me he was a better shot at goal
Now however, Wilson has become a huge favourite with me, he provides hard contests in the forward line and is kicking straight (thanks Suma!!)
So, even though i wish Scotty the best of luck, keeping Wilson seems to be paying dividends at the moment
Well i think you all know how i felt after Scotty was let go  He is still one of my favourite players in the AFL and i wish him all the best at Collingwood but i do believe Whoosha made the right decision. In todays game he had limited opportunity but still ended up with 4 goals. Is it impossible for us to think that he may challenge for the Coleman??
Top Ten Goalkickers, as of the end of round three
1. Troy Wilson W.C. Eagles 15
2. Barry Hall Sydney Swans 13
3. Matthew Lloyd Essendon 12
4. Daniel Bradshaw Brisbane Lions 11
5. Brodie Holland Collingwood 11
6. David Neitz Melbourne 10
7. Jason Akermanis Brisbane Lions 9
8. Phillip Matera W.C. Eagles 8
9. Stephen Milne St Kilda 8
10. Byron Pickett Kangaroos 8
Enjoyable reading for west coast fans :)
Is early days indeed, but you have to admit that if current form holds, Wilson is going to be a right up there with the best of them for most of the season, and dare I jinx him, at least an early favorite for the Coleman. Also good to see Phil Matera up there!
I think Fido could kick the most goals for a small forward this season. Holland is the only one in front of him and his 3 goals in 2 games isnt very good. Apart from him 8 goal haul i doubt he will be around come seasons end.
Well, some of us have always seen the positives in Wilson, it just took a little longer for the rest of you to catch up...... :p ;)
Also, I personally prefer 'Willo' to 'Willow'. 'Willow' is too feminine, there's a girl on Buffy called Willow.

Thats sort of why i like it- very Australian and ironic and all that, calling a 189cm, 100kg slab of muscle 'willow'

Ah see, it's in his genes: Willow's specific use is for bashing balls in straight lines! :D
