View Full Version : Glenelg (v Centrals) - my POV

The crowd in the Cathedral Hotel prior to the match was at least 10:1 in favour of Central fans

The crowd at the ground was about the same ratio.

Glenelg's forward line underperformed again. Sammy Logan did little, as did Baldwin.

Glenelg's best players by far and away were two of it's own: Darren O'Brien and David Willett.

Smith won the lion's share of the rucks - but what good is winning the ruck when the ball is tapped straight to the opposition?

Matty Golding at FULL BACK??? What the frig???

Central is too bloody good...

Marco Bello ran circles around the entire Glenelg outfit. His running goal in the last quarter was one of the best anyone will ever see. BOG by a country mile.

Hope you enjoyed it, raboyle...

I did enjoy it...not just because we won, but because it was on FRIDAY NIGHT!

Make more Friday night matches for neutral venue matches!
