just wondering how a great club like spotty can pull a crowd at a game yet cant get a sniff on here?

how good was the debut of benny pope and nick jensen on saturday?

mixed it well with the big boys

Very good 1st up games. They have a real crack and it was great to see from 1st gamers. Hope they get more opportunities. 1st kick for Popey being a goal, great start to senior footy!

Hoppers not a good team? Seems as though we are on a hiding to nothing then bcos if we win, it was expected and if we lose, then we have choked. But as we have said all along, judge us in 3 weeks time after we play Albion, Port and Sunshine.

As for Spotty being chockers come finals time, where does this opinion come from? I havent been there all that long and may be speaking out of school but from watching and playing against them in recent years, I cant remember them going into too many finals series with any great expectation to perform. They have just made the finals of recent years. I thought choking was under-performing in big games when you were expected to do well.

What talk are you talking about? The media are blowing wind up our a#se bcos we have picked up a couple of good players. This has definitely not come from the club and we have no control over what other people say. I think a few are just getting carried away bcos of a couple of big wins we have had. We are a better side than last year but any one of 4 or 5 clubs can win it this year I think. Finishing top 3 is always very important and whoever gets it right at the right time of the year will win, obviously.

This true cam,and agree there are 4 or 5 that can win the flag,but clerly from results so far you guys would be thinking you are clear favourites.Who was missing from your best 21 against hopppers?????
Clerly sunshine is the best team we have played and then i'm sure you guys will be a top three side,hoppers are always at their best and can't be underestimated and although st.albans knocked us off i don't think their top 3 just yet,and with us if we don't get the hunger back we mite not get that coveted top 3 spot but if we can click we will be a force

i havent read nothing in the papers about spotty?
all i was saying was that spotty wouldnt like to call themselves choakers because they havent been the strongest side in the comp for a while and had no expection, but at the same time they are willing to tell everyone about their glory days when people have a crack at them. so i think they have choaked in that sense how they havent been able to back up for a long time what the preach about, and thats winning grandfinals

however if the media was blowing wind up all ur arses it need a lot of breath to fill jensens and montys blow up muscles and a few big heads that u got at spotty

Kelly, Patak, Pelar and Bondy didnt play and I came off early in the 2nd qtr with my quad.

We think that our best is as good as anybody else in the comp but producing it week in, week out is easier said than done, as you guys have found out of late. Losing a couple of games doesnt change what I think about Port. They will be the side to beat although your performances may not show it as yet. You guys will fire up when it matters most. I hope for our sake Im wrong.

The club was very successful during those years and good on them but the new guys are here to begin our own successful era (hopefully) so we can do what these old pr#cks are doing now, sitting back and talking about their success.

You are right about needing a lot of air to blow everybody up at Spotty. Those 2 are big units and need a lot as do mine and Crackers's a#ses!

nothing wrong with being proud of a succesfull club.

spotty could win the next 3 flags undefeated and you blokes would still find shit to put on club, mate its been going on for years.

yeah some might but i dont think people should use it as a mesuring stick for their own potential
a premiership only reflects the ppl on the park and behind the scenes. that doesnt include the people standing behind the goals shouting abuse

anyone else feel that if they preformancing enhancing drugs actually enhanced ray jensen preformance because hes pretty much useless now probs be less of a joke if he wasnt so big and on the roids; he should be thrown out of the league if a drug test said so

and dont get all high and mighty and say then u need to after people who do recreational drugs because remember this is the wrfl we are not anyones role model but there should be a level playing field of natural ability for all

haha for someone who justed used the word 'animosity' trying to sound intelligent, u sound rediculous saying because i think they are on steriods etc. that im jealous and want to be like them. sounds like something a preschooler would say.
if i wanted to look like them im sure im way to lazy to do it so id stick to just thinking i was big, way easier that way. also easier to run around and get a kick and not worry about turds like that, we all know muscles means a pee heart
