Im not sure if NSW have actually offered him a contract. All i know is that he'll be playing in NSW next year as will Rummans.

Was a handy cricketer very useful with the ball and bat. As Coughlan said though, he won't be missed. We have a million all-rounders who can do as good of a job as he does.

So? He still wouldnt have fitted into NSWs best XI last season unless they went for the mega tail and 5 bowlers

So a guy who is good enough to dominate for the greatest team in the world is not good enough to play domestic cricket?

I'm tipping he would have gotten a game ahead of Bracken....and even MacGill or Lee...or McGrath...

Well Australias leading ODI bowler can't get a look in for the longer version of the game for his country so why would this be any different?

Rummans can get ****ed.

Why would that be? He might return home to Sydney to play fo St George and pursue a career away from cricket. He has been a fantastic club player for St Kilda and deserves his back to back Ryder medals, only disappointment was he did not do as well for the Vic's from I suppose limited chances.

Thanks for your intelligence and you comment about he can get F####d says everything about you.

Good luck Rummo wherever you decide to play you Cricket next season

Agree with you about the fact he deserved is Ryder medals, but I would like to know the reasons why he's leaving Victoria. If it's because he isn't happy with not being selected for the Vic's side, I very much doubt he'll have a better chance of playing for NSW.

It has been made fairly obvious that he does not feature in the plans at Victoria and there is probably no chance of further state cricket, he is returning to Sydney because his family is there and he has better prospects of work there also.

Real shame because he is probably playing his best cricket and could do a could job for another state side given a decent chance.

He has no ideas that moving back to Sydney is going to open any NSW doors, that is even if he would want to play any cricket there after the dreadful way the NSW hierarchy treated him in the past!!!!
