View Full Version : Bock off
Bock has completely lost all touch. His efforts in the last few weeks have been very poor. He cannot take a mark and his turning circle is worse than the Queen Mary.
We look bloody ordinary tonight. Burton once again poor. Perrie's kicking costly. Another poor clanger across goals from Stephens. Nothing form Bernie Vince. Edwards slow and caught too much with the ball.
We look slow and lethargic.
Very few positives.

His knees being sore means he has lost all athleticism ....making him a vanilla 182cm string bean

Our kingdom for a crumber. Geez we needed one tonight. Vince and Douglas both not up to it tonight.
Killed around the ball in the second quarter.

anyone think Pffiefer could play the small forward role??
seems to be a polished player when in possession.

Better third quarter from the Bockster, but I do not like our forward structure at the moment. There are too many ifs and buts about it....will Perrie be able to kick straight..... will Bock be abel to take a grab and kick straight..... will Welshy have a good night or a bad night..... will we be able to get a crumber who can get the balls off the pack..... can Burton become a force again soon or will he continue to play hurt etc.

Bodey is the only natural crumber on the list ATM

Gotta agree ....hasn't Douglas played most of his junior footy either as an onballer or backman ....he certainly doesn't look a natural forward

It's just a numbers / fit bodies game ATM.
I think ideally he would be running off a HBF all things being equal

Pfieffer IMO is similar to Thompson ....runs well in straight lines but think best suited running off HB or wing/on ball

But it will come with experience. He did show somethings last week and that will take time. With our injury list and list management we need to give these young guys time to adjust to the front lines.
We have to wait until next year before the dirty dancer gets a gig there. :D

I thought Bock was more than handy on Friday night, especially in the second half. Lead well and if he made the most of his opportunities could've had two or three more goals on the board.
