Where to start? Well done across the board, lot of players breathing easier tonight I'm sure!
3) Hird - who said anyhting about him being too old for this game?
2) McPhee - Very welcome return to form
1) Davey - he's just so damn quick, breaking those tackles was magic
But strong performances from MJ, McVeigh, Fletcher, Lloyd, Hille, Stanton, Winderlich, Houli and Lucas - certainly better than anything of the past 3 weeks

3. Hird. Consistently great all day.
2. Hille. Was great. Nullified their ruck combo and gave us plenty of drive.
1. Fletcher. Great all day.
McVeigh very unlucky.... only if he kicked straight.

1) Dyson- I know he wasn't 3rd best but he proved me wrong today.
I thought he was the only player to have no contribution today. I know he put his body on the line at one stage but apart from that I thought it was his business as usual game.

You just cant handle saying anything good about Dyson can you Kelvin. He had at least 4 kicks which resulted in scores, he ran, chased, and did a fairly good job on Simon Black when he was on him. Cant fault his performance except for possibly 1 or 2 skill errors.

3- Fletcher (IMO anyone who does not have him getting 2-3 votes is just plain silly- if fletcher was not tehre Brown would have kicked 15 goals he was that important
2- Hird, played well and kicked good goals
1- Hille (now see what happens when we have a ruckman fellas not some gimp called Laycock that calls himself a ruckman- we actually won some clearances this week as a result! Please Hille stay fit!

Hirdy, obvious choice.
Hille, played a very good game in the ruck today. Nice one Dave.
Mark Johnson, rebounded exceptionally well I thought, setup a lot of play from defence. A welcome return after a few dodgy weeks.
I would have given Fletcher a vote but due to the fact him and big Mal double teamed Browny all day I don't think this deserves votes. If he had nullified TheBrownDog by himself then by all means he would have the 2.
Sorry Jobe, good game but unlucky.

You're only considering the defensive work Fletcher did then, which was only half his game. The amount of rebound attack Fletcher created was incredible and invaluable

For me, Jobe was best on ground if it wasn't for the circumstances in which Hird played. The amount of times Jobe reads the ball off the ruckmans hands is amazing. I have been hard on Jobe with his kicking this year but he didnt put a step wrong. Great game for him, back to his 2006 form.

I loved Sheedy's coaching, i can't believe he actually did a bit flooding, and double teamed JB. He may hate flooding, but it contributed to us winning the game. I thought he'd be too subborn to do it, keep it up sheeds, and we will win alot more games.
